Overview
Ben Henshall is a 20-year-old from Australia who’s spent most of the last two seasons with the Perth Wildcats in the Australian NBL. The 6-foot-5 guard-forward appeared in 35 games in 2024-25, averaging 9.5 points, 3.6 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.1 steals on 39/33/86 shooting splits in 24.1 minutes per game. He also attended the 2025 NBA Draft Combine in May where he participated in scrimmages with other top prospects. In his first outing, he put up six points and two made 3s with three rebounds in 14 minutes, then tallied 10 points, three boards and an assist in 21 minutes in the second.

Analysis
Henshall could provide a boost at both ends of the court for any team at the next level. The shooting percentages from the field and 3-point range are areas for improvement, but he has good positional size at either guard spot, a tight handle, solid court vision and passing skills, and the ability to attack and score at all three levels. He plays with poise and always seems to rise to the moment, something that should benefit him under the bright lights of the NBA. The Aussie can guard multiple positions, provide secondary playmaking and his jumper looks sound. His career free-throw mark of more than 85% shows promise for the rest of his offensive development.

Projection
Henshall’s all-around offensive repertoire and positive impact on defense should translate well to the NBA. With almost 70 contests of professional experience to his name, the Aussie displays a great feel for the game and a high basketball IQ that will allow him to produce at either guard spot. He’s comfortable with the ball in his hands, in both screen-and-roll and handoff situations, but knows how to play off the ball as well. Henshall has a similar skillset to players like Coby White, Ty Jerome and Caris LeVert.
