Plays disruptive defensive in SL
Clark was part of the first unit for all of his outings, and he notably swiped 2.5 steals per contest during the exhibition period as well. The 23-year-old swingman opened his rookie season with the G League in 2024-25, but he's set to begin the 2025-26 campaign as a reserve for the Timberwolves. With Nickeil Alexander-Walker now out of the picture, Clark will likely spend training camp battling with Terrence Shannon for the backup role at small forward behind Jaden McDaniels.

Flashes shot-blocking upside in SL
Beringer started each of his outings at center and flashed plenty of rim-protecting ability, also swatting 2.5 shots per contest during the exhibition action. The Timberwolves spent the No. 17 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft to land Beringer, but the 18-year-old rookie big man profiles as a very raw prospect. As long as both Rudy Gobert and Naz Reid are healthy, Beringer could struggle to carve out a steady role off the bench in 2025-26.

Idle to end Summer League
Shannon sat out the Timberwolves' semifinal loss, marking his second straight absence to close out Summer League. The wing's last appearance came Tuesday against the Pistons, when he tallied 24 points (6-9 FG, 3-3 3Pt, 9-9 FT), five rebounds, three assists and two steals in 28 minutes.
