Bryce McGowens
Latches on with Pels

McGowens will be with his third team in four years since entering the NBA ranks back in 2022. The 23-year-old wing spent the 2024-25 campaign on a two-way contract with Portland, averaging 2.5 minutes in 13 NBA appearances. He'll fill the Pelicans' third and final two-way slot, and he'll have to compete with the likes of Trey Alexander and Micah Peavy for a slot in the back end of the rotation. Considering New Orleans' quality depth at the shooting guard and small forward positions, it's likely McGowens spends a significant chunk of the 2025-26 season in the G League.

Malevy Leons
Inks deal with Oklahoma City

Leons has been signed as an addition to the team's training camp roster. The Bradley product played in six regular-season games with Oklahoma City during the 2024-25 campaign, but he didn't see the floor much, averaging only 3.5 minutes per game.

Daeqwon Plowden
Inks two-way deal with Sacramento

The Suns waived Plowden on July 6 after he was traded to Phoenix in the massive seven-team trade involving Kevin Durant landing with the Rockets. Plowden, a Bowling Green product, played in six regular-season games with the Hawks during the 2024-25 campaign, averaging 7.2 points and 1.8 rebounds across 12 minutes per game while shooting 64.0 percent from the floor and 52.9 percent from beyond the arc.
