Fantasy News

Taelon Peter
Double-doubles in G League loss

Peter had a solid outing despite the loss, as he led the team in rebounds en route to compiling his first double-double of the campaign. However, the 23-year-old struggled shooting the ball, as he connected on just 20.0 percent from the field and 18.2 percent from beyond the arc. The two-way player has only seen limited playing time across his 21 outings in the NBA, and he should continue to see the majority of his usage in the G League.

Nate Williams
Productive in loss

Williams continues to produce offensively for Long Island, as he's now scored 20 or more points in three consecutive games and 11 times overall this season. The 26-year-old was also active defensively during the loss, recording a team-high five steals. Williams is now averaging 18.8 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 2.3 steals across 20 outings.

Victor Oladipo
Leading scorer off bench

Oladipo had a dominant outing in the victory, as his 25 points both led the Herd and also served as a new season-high total for the 33-year-old. The 6-foot-3 guard was also efficient shooting the ball, converting 61.5 percent of his field-goal attempts and 80.0 percent of his three-point tries. However, Oladipo was also careless with the ball at times, as he racked up a team-high six turnovers.

Lauri Markkanen
Erupts for 33 points

Markkanen was particularly effective down the stretch of Thursday's clash, adding 10 points in the fourth quarter to ensure victory. He's shouldered a heavy workload lately, averaging 39.0 minutes over his last five appearances, and he's taken advantage by putting up 28.2 points per game over that stretch.

Cooper Flagg
Narrowly misses first triple-double

Flagg certainly did his part in a tightly-contested matchup, recording double-digit rebounds for the first time since Dec. 18 while leading the team in scoring. This marks his fourth double-double through 37 appearances this season. Flagg got off to a slow start to January, totaling 22 points through his first two games, but he appears firmly back on track.

Anthony Davis
Fails to return

The severity of Davis' injury is not yet known after he checked out with 2:08 remaining in the fourth quarter in obvious pain. He can be considered day-to-day until the team has more information to share. Klay Thompson and Caleb Martin would be in line for more playing time if Davis is unable to go Saturday in Chicago.

Keyshawn Bryant
Makes G League season debut

After dropping at least 30 points in a pair of Basketball Super League contests, Bryant quickly caught the attention of the Windy City Bulls and made his G League season debut. A left knee injury had troubled the 26-year-old during his time with the San Diego Clippers a year ago, but Bryant is ready to contribute with his new squad.

Anthony Davis
Exits to locker room

Davis looked to be in pain down the stretch of the fourth quarter, resulting in a timeout by the Mavs. The big man was then spotted making his way to the locker room. It's unclear if Davis will be able to return for the final few minutes of play.

Mac McClung
Massive double-double Thursday

It was another standout showing by McClung, who scored at least 30 points in his second straight game and set a season high in dimes. The explosive guard has been a prolific performer since linking up with the Windy City Bulls in the G League, notching at least 20 points in 14 of his 18 appearances so far.

Sam Merrill
Provides spark off bench

Merrill reverted to a bench role Thursday after starting in each of the Cavaliers' prior two games, but he still gave his team a nice scoring punch and finished with the second-most points on Cleveland behind Donovan Mitchell (30). It was the fourth game in which Merrill scored 20-plus points in a game, and he tied a season high he has reached twice before. He has scored in double digits in seven of his last eight outings, and over that span he has averaged 15.4 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 4.0 threes and 0.9 steals over 27.3 minutes per game.

Anthony Edwards
Near double-double Thursday

Edwards was initially listed as questionable due to right foot injury management, but he was given the green light to play Thursday. While his foot may have bothered him during the win, it didn't prevent him from posting a season high in assists as he finished one dime shy from recording his second double-double of the season. In his 11 outings since returning from a three-game absence due to the same foot injury, Edwards has averaged 30.2 points, 5.4 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 3.5 threes, 1.8 steals and 0.9 blocks over 35.6 minutes per game.

Malcolm Hill
Game-high 14 boards in return

Following a two-game absence due to an illness, Hill was back in action Thursday and pulled down a game-high 14 boards off the bench. The 30-year-old swingman had started all but two of his first 18 outings of the season, so it would make sense if Hill ended up re-entering the first five once he builds his conditioning back up.

Donte DiVincenzo
Nails six triples Thursday

DiVincenzo scored 17 of his 22 points across the second and third quarters and was one of four Timberwolves players to score 20-plus points during Thursday's win. It was his fifth game of 20-plus points on the season (and first since Dec. 12 against the Warriors), and his six three-pointers tied a season high that he set against the Nets on Nov. 3. DiVincenzo is averaging 13.2 points, 4.4 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 3.0 threes and 1.3 steals over 31.3 minutes per game this season.

Kennedy Chandler
Double-doubles off bench in return

After missing Sunday's 130-94 victory over the Birmingham Squadron with a right ankle injury, Chandler came off the bench in his return but still led the team in dimes. The 23-year-old point guard had started each of his prior 20 games of the year, so it's likely that Chandler will rejoin the first unit once he becomes further removed from the issue.

Donovan Mitchell
Game-high 30 points in loss

Mitchell scored 19 of his 30 points in the second half of Thursday's loss, but it wasn't enough for the Cavaliers to come away with the road win. He has scored at least 30 points 21 times this season and in each of his last four outings. Mitchell is averaging 29.8 points, 5.5 assists, 4.8 rebounds, 3.9 threes and 1.5 steals over 33.9 minutes per game this season.

Jaden McDaniels
Efficient performance vs. Cleveland

Four of the Timberwolves' five starters scored at least 20 points during Thursday's win, with McDaniels finishing as the team's second-leading scorer behind Julius Randle (28 points). It was the ninth time this season that McDaniels scored 20 or more points, and he tied a season high with three triples. He has averaged 15.5 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.3 threes and 2.3 steals over 31.9 minutes per game over four outings in January.

Julius Randle
Teases triple-double in win

Randle was one of four Minnesota starters to score at least 20 points and finished as the team's second-leading rebounder behind Rudy Gobert (13). Randle posted his 12th double-double of the season Thursday (fifth over his last seven outings), and he was two dimes shy from recording this third triple-double of the regular season. Through the first four games of January, he has averaged 22.0 points, 8.8 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 1.8 threes over 31.5 minutes per game.

Brandon Williams
Won't return due to illness

Williams was also dealing with a bruised heel leading up to Thursday's game, but it's an illness that will end his night early. Jaden Hardy and D'Angelo Russell could see more opportunities in the second half with Williams sidelined.

Pascal Siakam
Leads Pacers to victory

Siakam put together another strong showing Thursday and helped Indiana snap a 13-game losing streak. He led his team in points and rebounds on the way to his first double-double since Dec. 5 while reaching the 30-point threshold for the second time in his last three games. Siakam is averaging 27.3 points, 8.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.0 steals through his first four appearances of January.

LaMelo Ball
Drops 33 points with eight dimes

With Thursday's game coming as the second leg of a back-to-back set, Ball was brought off the bench in an effort to conserve his minutes, and it'll be interesting to see if that continues in future back-to-back sets. The reserve role didn't impact Ball's statistical production, as he secured his third 30-plus point performance of the season and fell just one triple shy of matching his season high in three-point makes. Ball will look to keep rolling Saturday with a favorable matchup against the Jazz.

Coby White
Game pushed due to court conditions

White was on track to enter the starting lineup Thursday, but he'll need to wait until Saturday after the matchup was postponed due to condensation on the court. The league has announced that the game will be rescheduled for a later date.

Nikola Vucevic
CHI-MIA game postponed

The Bulls share an arena with the Chicago Blackhawks, and there was an issue with the ice underneath the court melting and causing unsafe conditions. Thursday's game will be rescheduled for a later date.

Tyler Herro
Game called due to court conditions

An announcement was made prior to tipoff that the game would be delayed due to condensation on the court, and after arena officials were unable to make the surface playable, the decision was made to postpone Thursday's clash. The league has put out a statement that the game will be rescheduled for a later date.

Norman Powell
Won't play due to court conditions

The matchup was initially delayed for around two hours as the arena staff attempted to make the court playable, but the decision was ultimately made to postpone for the night. It's unclear at this time when the game will be rescheduled, though the league put out a statement noting a new date for the contest will be communicated at a later time.

Coleman Hawkins
Rolls to G League triple-double

Hawkins operated with efficiency on the offensive end and led his team in rebounds and assists on the way to a triple-double. This marks just the second time during the regular season that he's racked up double-digit rebounds, and his first dishing out 10 or more dimes.

Basheer Jihad
Tallies 27 points in G League

Jihad posted an efficient showing on the offensive end and collected his first double-double of the season. This was an impressive all-around performance from the Arizona State product, who was averaging 10.6 points and 5.7 rebounds through seven regular-season appearances entering Thursday.

Svi Mykhailiuk
Moving to bench

Mykhailiuk will come off the bench for the first time this season as the Jazz elect to shake up the starting lineup. Cody Williams steps into the starting small-forward spot in Mykhailiuk's place.

Kevin Love
Starting Thursday

Love will get the start with Jusuf Nurkic (toe) unavailable, and he'll be joined in the first unit by Keyonte George, Brice Sensabaugh, Cody Williams and Lauri Markkanen. In two starts this season, Love has averaged 5.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.5 triples per game.

Cody Williams
Stepping into starting five

Williams is in line for his first start of the 2025-26 campaign despite providing little production in his recent play as a reserve. Svi Mykhailiuk will retreat to a bench role as a result of the lineup shift.

Brandon Miller
Ejected vs. Pacers

Miller was clearly upset with the whistle throughout the first two-plus quarters of play, and he was dismissed after voicing his frustration. Sion James and Josh Green could be asked to handle additional minutes the rest of the way in Miller's absence.

Rui Hachimura
Questionable for Friday

Hachimura was a partial participant in Wednesday's practice with the Lakers' G League affiliate in South Bay, so he's moving in the right direction. We'll have a better idea on Hachimura's status based on his activity level at Friday's shootaround, but if he is able to get back out there, Dalton Knecht and Jake LaRavia's minutes would take a hit.

LeBron James
Game-time decision for Friday

James has been upgraded to questionable after sitting out the second half of a back-to-back Wednesday night against the Spurs. All indications point to him being ready to go Friday, but the team will have confirmation on his status closer to tipoff.

Jerami Grant
Still out Friday

Grant hasn't played since Dec. 18, and it's not a great sign that he continues to get ruled out 24 hours in advance of tipoff. The Trail Blazers haven't offered any updates on where Grant is in the rehab process, so for now, Grant should be considered doubtful for Sunday's game against the Knicks. Caleb Love will continue to pick up the slack in Grant's absence.

Kris Murray
Won't play vs. Houston

Murray is in line for a second straight absence due to back soreness. He'll have another chance to return Sunday against the Knicks.

Jrue Holiday
Carries doubtful tag for Friday

The fact that Holiday has been upgraded to doubtful ahead of Friday's clash is a sign that he's nearing a return from a right calf strain. While he appears unlikely to go against Houston, he could be back in the near future.

Coby White
Drawing start Thursday

White has been easing back into game action since returning from a calf injury, and he's expected to log 24-to-26 minutes Thursday. Kevin Huerter's (back) absence presents an opportunity for White to return to the first unit, though don't expect this to change his minutes limit.

Kel'el Ware
Headed to bench

Tyler Herro is returning to the starting lineup Thursday, which will shift Ware back to the second unit. As a reserve this season, Ware has compiled averages of 9.8 points, 9.2 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per contest.

Brandon Williams
Set to play Thursday

Williams was upgraded to probable earlier in the day, so the fact that he's since been cleared is no big surprise. He's been excellent off the bench recently, averaging 19.0 points while knocking down 58.1 percent of his attempts from the field over his last five matchups.

Jusuf Nurkic
Ruled out for Thursday

Nurkic is getting a maintenance day on the second leg of a back-to-back set, but he should be able to get back out there for Saturday's game against the Hornets. With Nurkic unavailable Thursday evening, expect more minutes for Kyle Filipowski and Kevin Love.

P.J. Washington
Won't go Thursday

Washington will miss a second game while dealing with a right ankle sprain. His next chance to return will arrive Saturday in Chicago.

Tyler Herro
Back in starting lineup

Herro was deployed off the bench in his first game back from injury Tuesday, and he's set to return to the starting five Thursday evening. Kel'el Ware will retreat to a reserve role as a result of the lineup change.

Craig Porter
Starting Thursday

Porter will be joined in the first unit by Darius Garland, Donovan Mitchell, Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen. This will be Porter's first start this season, but he's capable of racking up the defensive stats when given the minutes, so he's on the radar as a streaming target with just four games on Thursday's slate.

Sam Merrill
Moving to bench

Merrill will return to a bench role after making two straight starts. He found success in his last appearance as a reserve, finishing with 16 points in 23 minutes Dec. 31 against Phoenix.

Jaylon Tyson
Suiting up Thursday

Tyson was added to the injury report as probable due to an illness, and he's now been cleared to take the court. He'll be in the running for a start Thursday with Dean Wade (knee) sidelined.

Jalen Green
Still no timetable for return

The Suns have yet to provide an update on Green since noting that he was making solid progress near the end of December and would be re-evaluated in 2-to-3 weeks. He can be considered doubtful for Sunday's matchup with the Wizards until further notice.

Larry Nance
Available to play

Nance will be available for the first time since Nov. 28, but that doesn't necessarily mean he'll play. He's going to be eased back into things after a lengthy layoff, so for now, Nance can safely remain on the waiver wire.

Darius Garland
Will play Thursday

Garland was added to the injury report earlier in the day with a right hand contusion, but he was spotted going through his normal warmups about one hour before tipoff and has since been given the green light to play. He's coming off an impressive 29-point performance against Indiana, his best showing since Dec. 19.

Jamaree Bouyea
Remaining out for Friday

Bouyea is set to miss his third straight game while dealing with a concussion. His next chance to return will arrive Sunday against the Wizards.

Onyeka Okongwu
Not listed on injury report

Okongwu missed Wednesday's win over the Pelicans with an illness, but he'll get back out there Friday night, which should shift Mouhamed Gueye back to the second unit. Asa Newell could drop from the rotation entirely with Okongwu active.

Anthony Edwards
Good to go Thursday

Edwards was added to the injury report due to right foot injury management, but the team has since given him clearance to take the court Thursday. He's been playing at a high level of late, averaging 31.3 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.7 steals in his last seven appearances.

Chucky Hepburn
Undergoes knee surgery

It was known that Hepburn had been battling a knee injury while playing in the G League, but the team revealed Thursday that he underwent successful knee surgery. This will put him out at least until mid-February and likely into March as he works through the rehab process.

Ace Bailey
Ruled out vs. Dallas

The rookie first-rounder is sitting out the second leg of Utah's back-to-back Thursday. Barring any setbacks, Bailey figures to be available for Saturday's clash with the Hornets. With some minutes freed up, Brice Sensabaugh seems to be worth streaming in shallow fantasy leagues and Svi Mykhailiuk in deeper formats.

Sion James
Rotating to bench

James will retreat to a bench role with Brandon Miller back in action. James hasn't been very impactful as a reserve of late, averaging 6.0 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists in 25.8 minutes in his last four matchups off the bench.

LaMelo Ball
Shifting to bench

Ball was given the green light to play shortly before tipoff after shaking a probable tag, but he'll take on a new role Thursday night. This marks the first time he'll be utilized off the bench this season, and it comes after he's had his fair share of shooting struggles, hitting at a clip of 40.4 percent from the field and 34.5 percent from deep over his last four matchups.

Collin Sexton
Starting Thursday

Joining Sexton in the first unit for Thursday's game will be Brandon Miller, Kon Knueppel, Miles Bridges and Moussa Diabate. As a starter this season, Sexton has posted averages of 15.9 points, 2.6 rebounds, 5.5 assists, 1.3 triples and 1.0 steals per contest.

Quenton Jackson
Joining starting lineup

Jackson is getting the call to fill the void at point guard left behind by Andrew Nembhard (back). Jackson has averaged 10.8 points, 3.7 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 0.8 steals in 22.2 minutes per tilt across six games as a starter this season.

Andrew Nembhard
Ruled out vs. Hornets

It sounds like a day-to-day issue for Nembhard, whose next chance to play comes Saturday against Miami. The point guard minutes should be divvied up between T.J. McConnell and Ben Sheppard on Thursday, with both players being worthy of streaming consideration.

Coby White
Will log 24-26 minutes Thursday

White logged 25 minutes in Monday's matchup with the Celtics, so he could be in line for a minimal uptick in playing time Thursday. The team is expected to continue to monitor his minutes closely going forward as he works back from a pesky calf injury.

Ousmane Dieng
Omitted from injury report

Dieng is available to return from a seven-game absence with a right calf strain. He's averaged 12.5 minutes per game over 17 outings this year, and Dieng could see some decent run for the depleted Thunder on Friday.

Jaime Jaquez
Will play Thursday

Jaquez is back after a two-game absence, and his return could result in fewer minutes for Pelle Larsson and Simone Fontecchio. Jaquez is averaging 16.2 points, 5.3 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 2.1 turnovers per game this season.

Jaylin Williams
Set to miss another game

Williams continues to miss time while battling right heel bursitis. His next opportunity to suit up will arrive Sunday against the Heat, though it doesn't appear he's close to a return at this point.

Isaiah Hartenstein
Out again Friday

The Thunder rarely offer timetables on injured players, but Friday will mark Hartenstein's seventh straight game on the inactive list, and it's not a great sign that he continues to get ruled out 24 hours in advance of tipoff. With Chet Holmgren (shin) also set to skip Friday's game, Jalen Williams could be asked to spend more time at center, which could open up some more minutes for Aaron Wiggins and Kenrich Williams.

Alex Caruso
Could be cleared for Friday

Caruso has missed OKC's last two matchups while dealing with back soreness. He'll likely see how he fares in shootaround and warmups before a final decision is made on his availability for Friday.

Cason Wallace
Out with toe soreness

Wallace is nursing toe soreness, making his status day-to-day prior to Sunday's matchup with the Heat. Luguentz Dort, Isaiah Joe and Aaron Wiggins should see enough playing time to warrant streaming consideration in most leagues for the undermanned Thunder on Friday.

Chet Holmgren
Sitting vs. Memphis

Holmgren has played in his team's last nine matchups, and he evidently picked up some soreness along the way. Look for Aaron Wiggins, Kenrich Williams and Branden Carlson to pick up the slack in the front court with Holmgren, Isaiah Hartenstein (calf) and Jaylin Williams (heel) all out.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander
Ruled out for Friday

Chet Holmgren (shins), Isaiah Hartenstein (soleus), Cason Wallace (toe) and Jaylin Williams (heel) will join Gilgeous-Alexander on the inactive list for Thursday's game, so Jalen Williams will be very busy on offense, and Ajay Mitchell could see a lot of minutes and shots falling his way. For now, Gilgeous-Alexander should be considered questionable for Sunday's matchup with Miami.

Bruce Brown
Probable vs. Hawks

It doesn't sound like the issue will be significant enough to keep the swingman out of action. Brown has averaged 8.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.3 steals in 26.9 minutes per tilt across his last 12 games.

Christian Braun
Expects to play Friday

Braun logged 30 minutes in just his second game since Nov. 12, so his name on the injury report appears to be cautionary considering he's fresh off an ankle injury. The team should have official word on his availability closer to tipoff.

Aaron Gordon
Probable for Friday

Gordon should be good to go for Friday's game, and it'll be interesting to see how much longer the reserve role and minutes restrictions continue. Check back closer to Friday's tip for official confirmation on Gordon's status.

Spencer Jones
Iffy for Friday

Jones is dealing with both left ankle inflammation and an illness. If he cannot play, Bruce Brown (knee), who's expected to suit up, could enter the starting lineup, while Tim Hardaway and Jalen Pickett would be in line for a bump in minutes off the bench Friday.

Jamal Murray
Back on injury report

Murray's addition to the injury report is likely just a precaution, as he was able to take the court Wednesday after initially being listed as probable with the ankle issue. If all goes according to plan, expect Denver to clear the point guard closer to tipoff.

Vince Williams
Game-time call for Friday

Williams has missed nine of his team's last 10 games while tending to a knee injury, and he's not in the clear just yet. The team should have an update on his availability closer to Friday's tipoff.

John Konchar
Doubtful for Friday

Konchar hasn't played since Dec. 7 as he's been recovering from thumb surgery, and while he'll likely remain on the inactive list for Friday's game, his being listed as "doubtful" can be considered a sign of progress. Check back for official word on Konchar's status closer to Friday's tip.

Kevin Huerter
Won't play against Heat

Huerter is unavailable for the second part of the Bulls' back-to-back set Thursday. Saturday's contest against Dallas is his next opportunity to play. Despite the return of Coby White (calf), Ayo Dosunmu and Tre Jones should still see a rise in minutes Thursday.

Ja Morant
Out for Friday

Friday will mark Morant's fourth consecutive game on the inactive list, and it's not a great sign that he's getting ruled out 24 hours in advance of tip-off. He should be considered questionable at best for Sunday's matchup with the Nets.

Cedric Coward
Could return Friday

Coward is in danger of missing his third straight game while dealing with a left ankle sprain. Vince Williams (knee) is also questionable, meaning Cam Spencer and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope could be in for big nights if either player is eventually ruled out.

Brandon Miller
Available Thursday

Miller was held out of Wednesday's matchup against the Raptors, and after being initially cleared and then added back to the injury report leading up to Thursday's clash, he's officially been given clearance to take the court. He's averaging 24.0 points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.0 blocks in his last seven matchups.

Tidjane Salaun
Available to play

Salaun will continue to play through the ankle issue, and he should see minutes in the teens off the bench. Salaun is averaging 6.6 points and 4.3 rebounds per game this season.

LaMelo Ball
Available to play

Ball was being listed as probable, and now we have official confirmation that he'll be out there. Ball was held to just 15 points on 7-for-20 shooting his last time out, but he should have a good chance of bouncing back Thursday with a favorable matchup against the Pacers.

Landry Shamet
Ruled out against Suns

Shamet hasn't taken the court since Nov. 22, and he appears to remain out indefinitely. The sharpshooter's continued absence should keep Miles McBride in the streaming mix in most fantasy leagues, while Tyler Kolek and Jordan Clarkson are slated to continue to battle for reserve minutes in the New York backcourt.

Isaiah Crawford
Out with illness

Friday is set to be a second consecutive absence for Crawford, who can be considered day-to-day ahead of Sunday's matchup in Sacramento. His absence doesn't seem to open up any playing time in the Houston rotation for Friday, though.

Michael Porter
Probable for Friday

Porter had a knee-to-knee collision with Wendell Carter during Wednesday's loss to the Magic, and while he's feeling a little sore, it appears he intends to play through the discomfort. Check back for official confirmation on Porter's status closer to Friday's tip.

Caris LeVert
Minutes managed in return

In his return from a four-game absence due to left knee tendinopathy, LeVert had his playing time monitored carefully. His 12-minute workload was his smallest of the season, but LeVert managed to fill out the stat sheet nicely during his time on the court. Once he gets fully ramped up from the knee injury, LeVert could cut into the playing time of Daniss Jenkins, who has played 20-plus minutes in three straight contests.

Kelly Oubre
Tepid production in return

Oubre had started in each of the 76ers' first 12 games of the season, but after missing 22 consecutive contests due to a left knee sprain before gaining clearance to play Wednesday, the veteran wing came off the bench and operated with a heavy minutes restriction. After averaging 16.8 points per game prior to getting hurt, Oubre took on a much more muted role on offense in his return, handling a season-low 8.8 percent usage rate. Oubre could still see his minutes and usage pick up a bit in future contests, but he'll likely struggle to return to his pre-injury level of production now that Paul George has been back to full health for a while now after he had been sidelined for the first 12 games of the season.

Kyshawn George
Off injury report for Friday

George is set to wrap up a seven-game absence with a left hip flexor strain, which is likely to send Tre Johnson back to the bench. Over his last 12 outings, George has averaged 13.1 points, 5.3 assists, 4.8 rebounds, 1.0 steals and 0.8 blocks in 32.2 minutes per game.

Kawhi Leonard
Picks up ankle injury

Leonard stepped on a fan during Wednesday's loss to the Knicks, per Russo, resulting in a turned right ankle. The team should have a better idea on whether he'll suit up closer to tipoff.

Joel Embiid
Added to injury report

Embiid has looked like his old self over his club's last five games, but he finds himself on the injury report yet again leading up to Friday's clash, likely as a precaution. The team will presumably monitor the big man closely during shootaround and pregame warmups before determining his availability in Orlando.

Khris Middleton
Cleared from injury report

Middleton sat out Wednesday's loss to the 76ers, which was the second half of a back-to-back for the Wizards. The veteran forward has averaged 8.5 points, 3.9 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.0 steals in 21.5 minutes per game over his last nine outings, shooting a miserable 32.8 percent from the floor.

Trendon Watford
Not part of rotation in return

Available to play for the first time since Nov. 25 after a lengthy absence due to a left adductor strain, Watford wasn't included in head coach Nick Nurse's main rotation, as he didn't enter the contest until the 76ers had already built a 17-point lead in the waning minutes of the game. The 25-year-old forward could eventually emerge as a rotation option once he's further removed from the adductor strain, but he may need the 76ers to be without one or more key contributors in order to see meaningful minutes.

Jakob Poeltl
Won't play Friday

Poeltl was scheduled to practice Thursday, but the center is not quite ready to return. His next chance to play comes Sunday against the 76ers. Collin Murray-Boyles and Sandro Mamukelashvili are likely to see increased roles in the meantime.

Gary Payton
Probable for Friday

Payton is set to end a one-game absence with the injury Friday. He's managed to play at least 20 minutes in just five games out of 35 appearances this season, so Payton's fantasy appeal appears to remain minimal in a healthy Warriors backcourt.

Brandon Ingram
Questionable for Friday

Ingram remains day-to-day after leaving Wednesday's game against Charlotte early with a sprained thumb. This injury is on his shooting hand, and that certainly complicates things. With Scottie Barnes (knee) also questionable, the Raptors may need guys like Ja'Kobe Walter, Ochai Agbaji and Gradey Dick to step up.

Gabe Vincent
Drills two triples in return

Vincent had been sidelined for the Lakers' previous nine games due to a lumbar strain before making his return to action Wednesday. Prior to the contest, head coach JJ Redick said that Vincent would be capped at around 18 minutes, and the veteran guard ended up reaching that limit before he was kept on the bench for the rest of the night. Though Vincent may see his playing-time restriction pushed up a bit in the Lakers' next game Friday versus the Bucks, he's averaging just 21.3 minutes per contest on the season and is unlikely to see his role grow in a major way so long as most of Los Angeles' key contributors are available.

Ben Saraf
Won't play against Clippers

It'll be a second straight absence for Saraf, whose next chance to play comes Sunday against the Grizzlies. Fellow rookie Nolan Traore could see an uptick in playing time in the Brooklyn backcourt Friday.

Scottie Barnes
Questionable for Friday

Barnes limped to the locker room early in the fourth quarter of Wednesday's game against the Hornets with this knee issue, but he was able to return for the end of the game. The Raptors are now calling it a sprain, and the team may tread carefully here. Additionally, Brandon Ingram is questionable with a thumb sprain.

Josh Minott
Out again Friday

Minott will be sidelined for a second straight game Friday. He fell out of the rotation before his latest injury, however, so this won't have a big impact in fantasy hoops.

Saddiq Bey
Another absence coming

Sunday's matchup in Orlando marks Bey's next opportunity to conclude what is set to be a five-game absence with the injury. With Herbert Jones (ankle) unlikely to play Friday, Micah Peavy and Karlo Matkovic should have a chance to claim a more sizable role in the New Orleans frontcourt.

Jose Alvarado
Won't play Friday

The guard's next chance to end a two-game absence comes Sunday in Orlando. After playing 37 minutes during Wednesday's 117-100 loss to the Hawks, Bryce McGowens stands out as the direct fantasy beneficiary of Alvarado's absence from the New Orleans backcourt.

Herbert Jones
Doubtful for Friday

Jones appears likely to miss his second straight game Friday. Meanwhile, Trey Murphy (ankle, back) is questionable for the Pelicans. With this news, the Pelicans may need players like Jordan Poole, Bryce McGowens and Micah Peavy to step up once again.

Trey Murphy
Listed questionable for Friday

In addition to back spasms, Murphy is also dealing with a minor right ankle sprain. Murphy was unable to play Wednesday against the Hawks, so the Pelicans leaned heavily on Jordan Poole, Bryce McGowens and Micah Peavy.

Ace Bailey
Iffy for Thursday

Bailey returned from a five-game absence in Wednesday's defeat in Oklahoma City, and he's in danger of sitting out the second leg of this back-to-back. If the rookie first-rounder can't suit up, Svi Mykhailiuk and Brice Sensabaugh would see an increase in streaming value Thursday.

Kevin Love
Removed from injury report

After sitting out Utah's last two games for rest purposes, the veteran center is set to be available against Dallas. Love has averaged 9.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 2.0 three-pointers in 20.3 minutes per contest in his last 10 games, and his presence could take on greater importance if Jusuf Nurkic (toe) can't play.

Jusuf Nurkic
Iffy for Thursday

Thursday's game is the second leg of a back-to-back set, and if recent back-to-backs have been any indication, Nurkic could be due for a maintenance day. During Wednesday's loss to the Thunder, Nurkic had 15 points (6-16 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 15 rebounds, four assists, one block and three steals over 33 minutes. Kyle Filipowski could see increased minutes Thursday if Nurkic is held out.

Franz Wagner
Listed out for Friday

Orlando anticipated Wagner being able to return from a high-ankle sprain at some time this week, and the star forward is now setting his sights toward Sunday's tilt against the Pelicans as his next possible return date. Tristan da Silva should continue to start for the Magic on Friday.

Jase Richardson
Iffy for Friday

This is a new injury for Richardson, but the questionable tag suggests that he's day-to-day. He's played well over his last three appearances, posting averages of 13.0 points, 2.3 assists, 1.3 rebounds and 2.0 three-pointers.

Moritz Wagner
Won't play Friday

The Magic had hoped Wagner would be able to make his season debut at some point this week, and his next chance to do so now arrives Sunday against the Pelicans. With the big man still recovering from ACL surgery, Goga Bitadze's minutes should remain solidified in the Orlando frontcourt.

Jalen Suggs
Out again Friday

Suggs, who is nursing a MCL contusion, will be sidelined for a fourth straight game. The Magic continue to rule him out a day in advance of games, so he can be considered doubtful for Sunday's game against the Pelicans.

Keyonte George
Flirts with triple-double in loss

George registered his fourth double-double in 2025-26 as he continues to push for his first career All-Star nod. Over his last 12 appearances, George has averaged 28.3 points, 7.3 assists, 5.0 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 3.7 three-pointers in 37.0 minutes per game.

Jusuf Nurkic
Big stat line in close loss

Nurkic recorded his 10th double-double of the year, loading up the whole box score Wednesday. The veteran center has averaged a productive 15.9 points, 11.1 rebounds, 5.9 assists and 1.0 steals in 30.0 minutes per contest across his last nine games, shooting an efficient 60.9 percent from the field as well.

Chet Holmgren
Turns in eighth double-double

Holmgren submitted his eighth double-double of the campaign, and he's continuing to roll along while moving over primarily to center in the absence of Isaiah Hartenstein (calf). Over his last six appearances, Holmgren has averaged 17.8 points, 10.3 rebounds, 3.0 blocks and 1.8 assists in 30.0 minutes per game while shooting 59.4 percent from the floor.

Brandon Williams
Upgraded to probable

After originally being considered questionable, Williams is now in line to suit up Thursday. He's on a bit of a heater lately, with Williams averaging 19.0 points, 4.4 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.0 steals in 27.0 minutes per game over his last five outings while shooting 58.1 percent from the field.

Jaime Jaquez
Expected to play

Jaquez was previously listed as questionable, but he's likely to return from a two-game absence Thursday. He's in the midst of a strong campaign with averages of 16.2 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.7 assists across 29.1 minutes.

Stephen Curry
Continues to roll in win

Wednesday was Curry's 12th game of the year with at least 30 points. The 37-year-old superstar continues to show no signs of slowing down in his 17th campaign, averaging 30.0 points, 5.1 assists, 4.3 rebounds, 1.1 steals and 4.8 three-pointers in 33.7 minutes per contest in his last 12 games.

Brice Sensabaugh
Notches 13 points

Ace Bailey returned from a five-game absence as a result of a hip injury but played just 10 minutes off the bench with the Jazz taking a cautious approach. Utah has been giving its veteran players a lot of rest and maintenance lately, and that could help Sensabaugh's fantasy outlook down the stretch.

Al Horford
Team-high 10 rebounds off bench

Despite coming off the bench, the 39-year-old big man collected a team-high 10 boards Wednesday. Horford has shown some per-minute upside recently, averaging 9.2 points, 5.7 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.0 blocks in 15.3 minutes over his last six outings, but he figures to continue splitting the center minutes with Quinten Post.

Noah Clowney
Notches 10 points

While this wasn't Clowney's best night offensively, he more than made up for it defensively. Michael Porter has been heavily linked to trades elsewhere, and if that happens, Clowney could step into a larger offensive role down the stretch.

Kevin Porter
Strong campaign continues

Porter led the team in dimes and scored in double figures in his fifth straight outing. The 2019 first-rounder has been a pretty big surprise in 2025-26 after falling out of the NBA altogether in 2023, averaging 18.4 points, 7.8 assists, 5.1 rebounds and 2.2 steals in 34.2 minutes per tilt through 18 games this season.

Grayson Allen
Bounces back in win

After being held without a point in his return to the rotation Monday against the Rockets, Allen found his footing in a big way Wednesday. He was a strong source of points and three-pointers prior to his injury, making him worth a long look for managers looking for help in those categories.

Dillon Brooks
Pours in 21 points

Brooks is a hit-or-miss fantasy asset, but he's an invaluable member of the team's identity, and the Suns have made it clear he won't be moved ahead of the deadline. Over his last eight outings, Brooks is averaging 19.3 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.1 steals and 2.3 three-pointers on 43.6 percent shooting from the field.

Javon Small
Strong line off bench

Ja Morant (calf) missed his third game in a row Wednesday, but he's presumed to be day-to-day. Small finished a couple of points shy of his season-best mark of 16 points, and he showed good instincts as a playmaker as well. He's worth monitoring in Memphis with the team dealing with so many injuries.

GG Jackson
Records three steals in loss

The Grizzlies were shorthanded once again Wednesday, allowing Jackson to see increased minutes. He still has a lot of work to do to get on the fantasy radar, as he's averaging 8.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.0 three-pointers over his last three outings on 34.8 percent shooting from the field.

Caleb Love
Another double-digit scoring effort

With Jrue Holiday (calf) and Scoot Henderson (hamstring) out, Love is carving out a solid role for himself in the Portland backcourt. He's scored in double figures in nine consecutive outings, during which Love has averaged 16.1 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 3.4 three-pointers in 29.3 minutes per game.

Alex Sarr
Another strong line

The Wizards traded for Trae Young (quadriceps) on Wednesday, and that could benefit Sarr over the long run as the point guard is known for generating easy looks for his pick-and-roll partners. Sarr has been trending up over his last three outings with 15.0 points, 5.7 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.3 steals, 2.0 blocks and 1.3 three-pointers.

Steven Adams
Busy in narrow defeat

Adams stuffed the stat sheet Wednesday, and he should continue to start at center for the injured Alperen Sengun (ankle) for the next few weeks. Over nine outings as a starter, Adams has averaged 9.4 rebounds, 6.9 points, 2.0 assists and 1.1 steals in 27.6 minutes per game while shooting 55.8 percent from the field.

Paul Reed
Solid line in win

Jalen Duren (ankle) remains out for Detroit, though he's due to be re-evaluated prior to their next game Saturday. Reed has fared well in his last three starts with 8.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 0.7 steals in 27.3 minutes per contest.

Jamal Shead
Hands out six dimes

Shead wasn't able to find his rhythm offensively, but he continues to excel as a playmaker. Over his last seven games, he's shooting 37.5 percent from the field with averages of 7.7 points, 5.3 assists, 1.1 rebounds, 0.7 steals and 1.3 three-pointers in 22.0 minutes.

Jalen Smith
Another absence coming

Smith's next chance to pass the league's concussion protocol comes Saturday against Dallas. With Smith set to miss a third straight game, Lachlan Olbrich should continue to fill the void as the backup center behind Nikola Vucevic.

Coby White
Absent from injury report

After sitting out Wednesday's loss in Detroit for right calf injury management, White is set to return to the floor Thursday. White has averaged 15.9 points, 3.9 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 1.8 three-pointers in 26.8 minutes per contest over his last 12 games.

Kevin Huerter
Iffy for Thursday

Thursday's game is the second leg of a back-to-back set, so the Bulls may be weighing a maintenance day here. During Wednesday's game against the Pistons, Huerter logged 30 minutes with eight points, four assists, three rebounds and one steal.

Brandon Miller
Downgraded to probable

The Hornets removed Miller from the injury report Thursday morning, only to add him back with a probable tag moments later. Miller was held out Wednesday against the Raptors with this same issue, and it's worth noting that he was once probable for that contest as well. This is something to monitor closely.

Ryan Kalkbrenner
Another absence coming

The rookie center will be sidelined for a 10th straight game and remains without a timetable to return. He can be considered doubtful for Saturday's game against Utah.

Tidjane Salaun
Probable for Thursday

Salaun was also probable for Wednesday's game against Toronto, in which he finished with four points and six rebounds in 21 minutes. He's unlikely to see a big role Thursday with Brandon Miller returning from a one-game absence.

LaMelo Ball
Probable to play Thursday

Ball will likely play through both legs of the Hornets' back-to-back set despite experiencing soreness in his right ankle. In his last 11 appearances, Ball is averaging 19.7 points, 3.8 rebounds, 7.0 assists, 1.3 steals, 0.3 blocks and 4.3 threes across 26.5 minutes.

Darius Garland
Iffy for Thursday

Garland was a very late addition to the injury report, and that's usually not a good sign in fantasy hoops. Garland was terrific Tuesday against Indiana, finishing with 29 points (14-23 FG, 1-4 3Pt), six assists and two rebounds across 33 minutes. Craig Porter and Lonzo Ball may be asked to step up if Garland is unable to clear this questionable tag.

Brandon Miller
Available for Thursday

After missing Wednesday's game against the Raptors for the front end of this back-to-back set, Miller is no longer on the injury report. This signals that he was most likely held out for maintenance purposes. With Miller back, Sion James, Josh Green and Liam McNeeley could be less involved.

Anthony Edwards
Uncertain to play Thursday

The Timberwolves appear to be planning on giving Edwards a rest day at some point in the near future, as he had previously been listed as questionable with the same injury designation ahead of Tuesday's game against the Heat. He ended up suiting up in the Timberwolves' 122-94 win and was able to produce well despite being limited to 29 minutes in the blowout, as he finished with 26 points (8-18 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 5-6 FT), five rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one steal. The Timberwolves should provide official word on Edwards' status closer to Thursday's 8 p.m. ET tipoff.

Isaiah Stevens
Does not play Wednesday

Stevens is on a two-way contract with the Sacramento Kings but has yet to appear in an NBA game. In 19 G League appearances, Stevens is averaging 14.4 points, 3.6 rebounds, 8.3 assists, 0.8 steals, 0.2 blocks and 1.2 threes across 33.3 minutes.

Andrew Nembhard
Questionable for Thursday

Nembhard was a late addition to the injury report and could sit out as a precaution. During his last outing against the Cavaliers on Tuesday, Nembhard produced 15 points (6-12 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-4 FT), one rebound, 11 assists, one block and one steal across 30 minutes. T.J. McConnell will likely be asked to step into a larger role if Nembhard is unable to play.

Jaylin Williams
Out Wednesday with ankle injury

Williams is dealing with an ankle issue that was serious enough to hold him out of Wednesday's contest. His next opportunity to suit up would be Friday against the Westchester Knicks.

DaQuan Jeffries
Back in action Wednesday

Jeffries has missed a couple of games due to chest and knee injuries but made his return Wednesday and stuffed the stat sheet. In 11 G League appearances, Jeffries is averaging 14.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 1.4 stealsm 1.2 blocks and 2.4 threes across 27.3 minutes.

Jaden Shackelford
Puts up 31 in G League win

Shackelford has been on quite the scoring tear recently, recording at least 20 points in six of his last seven appearances. In 19 G League games, Shackelford is averaging 17.2 points, 3.9 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 0.9 steals, 0.3 blocks and 2.7 threes across 33.9 minutes.

Tony Bradley
Back with Pacers

Bradley was waived by the Pacers on Jan. 5, but the franchise will bring him back for the short term. With averages of 1.3 points and 2.6 rebounds in 7.9 minutes this season, this news doesn't carry many fantasy implications.

Killian Hayes
Dishes 18 assists in loss

Hayes' 18 assists are a season high, and his performance Wednesday marked his fifth double-double. In 14 G League appearances, Hayes is averaging 25.2 points, 3.9 rebounds, 8.8 assists, 1.9 steals, 0.7 blocks and 2.6 threes across 32.1 minutes.

Mouhamed Gueye
Monster line in win

With Onyeka Okongwu (illness) sidelined Wednesday, the Hawks let Gueye loose with the starters, and he delivered. He posted his second double-double of the season and set a new career-high mark in steals (4). Kristaps Porzingis is likely to have reduced workloads going forward, so Gueye could be able to build some momentum from this eruption.

Will Riley
Drops 33 points in G League win

Just after being assigned to the G League, Riley shows out and logs his second 30-point game in just four appearances. While it is unclear when Riley will be recalled to the NBA, he could definitely be of service for the Wizards, especially with the departure of Corey Kispert, who was included in the blockbuster trade for star point guard Trae Young.

Vit Krejci
Sees 19 minutes in win

The Hawks traded away Trae Young (quadriceps) on Wednesday, but they added CJ McCollum and Corey Kispert which could crowd things for Krejci. Krejci has had some solid outings in recent weeks, so it will be interesting to see what kind of role he carves out for the new-look Hawks.

Micah Peavy
Strong line in loss

The Pelicans were missing multiple players Wednesday, including Herbert Jones (ankle) and Trey Murphy (back). Both of those guys are presumed to be day-to-day, however. Peavy has been relatively quiet lately, posting averages of 5.5 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.3 steals and 0.5 three-pointers over his last four outings.

Jared McCain
Sees just 11 minutes

The 76ers had their entire roster available Wednesday, and the return of Kelly Oubre is likely to spell trouble for McCain. McCain is averaging just 15.1 minutes over his last four contests, and he can be safely monitored from the waiver wire for the time being.

Andre Drummond
Sees 12 minutes in win

Drummond recently fell out of the rotation for the 76ers, but he saw some action in garbage time Wednesday due to the lopsided score. With the entire Philadelphia frontcourt in good health, Drummond can be monitored from the waiver wire in most formats.

Brian Taylor
Out Wednesday with calf injury

Taylor started the season strong with consecutive games with at least 12 points and 31 minutes, but he has not seen that kind of usage as he slid down Motor City's depth chart. His next chance to play would be Friday in a rematch against the Go-Go.

Dominick Barlow
Sees 23 minutes in win

The 76ers had their full roster available for the first time this season, and Barlow kept his spot with the starters and saw a decent workload. He's made a strong impression on the 76ers, and he currently holds averages of 8.4 points, 5.1 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.8 blocks in 24.9 minutes per contest.

O'Mar Stanley
Out Wednesday with wrist injury

Stanley has not been involved in the Cruise's rotation even when healthy, so his absence did not have much impact. His next opportunity to suit up would be Friday in a rematch with the Go-Go.

Malaki Branham
Strong line in loss

Wednesday was a big day for the franchise, as the Wizards swapped CJ McCollum and Corey Kispert for Trae Young (quadriceps). Branham could see more opportunities moving forward, and he made the most of his minutes Wednesday with season-high marks in assists and steals. He's worth keeping an eye on in deeper formats.

Quincy Olivari
Does not play Wednesday

Olivari and seven others were sidelined for the shorthanded Motor City Cruise, which did not bode well for the team as they lost to the Go-Go. In 15 G League appearances, Olivari is averaging 14.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 1.0 steals, 0.1 blocks and 1.9 threes across 23.7 minutes.

Nickeil Alexander-Walker
Fills up stat sheet vs. Pelicans

Alexander-Walker continues to thrive in his first year in Atlanta, scoring in double figures in 35 of 37 games this season. While he had one of his least efficient shooting nights, the 27-year-old guard was impactful on the defensive end, matching a season high with five combined steals and blocks. Alexander-Walker has started the past six games for Atlanta, and now, with Trae Young dealt to the Wizards on Wednesday, he should continue to see healthy playing time. Alexander-Walker is averaging 20.8 points, 3.4 threes, 3.3 assists, 3.1 rebounds and 1.4 steals in 33.9 minutes per contest over his last nine games.

Charles Bediako
Out Wednesday with ankle injury

Bediako was one of eight inactives for the Motor City Cruise, which prompted the team to run an eight-man rotation. Bediako's next opportunity to suit up would be Friday in a rematch with the Go-Go.

Sandro Mamukelashvili
Notches 10 points in win

The Raptors seem content with Collin Murray-Boyles at center for the time being, but Mamukelashvili remains heavily involved for the second unit. It's worth mentioning that Jakob Poeltl (back) is getting closer to a return, so it will be interesting to see how this center rotation shapes up.

Jaden Akins
Drops 32 points in G League loss

While Akins led the team in scoring and had the highest plus-minus, it took him 29 shots to get to 32 points, and his efforts were not enough to lift his shorthanded team to victory. In 22 G League appearances, Akins is averaging 18.8 points, 3.7 rebounds, 6.3 assists, 1.1 steals, 0.5 blocks and 2.3 threes across 34.2 minutes.

Liam McNeeley
Sees 21 minutes in loss

With Brandon Miller (knee) getting the night off for the front end of this back-to-back set, McNeeley was able to absorb some minutes Wednesday. He's been used pretty sparingly recently, averaging 10.7 minutes over his last six outings.

Derrick White
Swats three shots in loss

Incredibly, this was White's 48th career game with at least three blocked shots. He's been on a tear this season in nine-category formats, as he's on pace to return second-round value with 18.4 points, 5.3 assists, 4.3 rebounds, 1.4 steals, 1.6 blocks and 3.2 three-pointers.

Isaac Okoro
Limited impact in loss

Although Okoro continues to play a sizable role for the Bulls, it hasn't translated to much fantasy value. Over his last eight games, Okoro has seen 24.9 minutes per contest with 8.0 points, 3.1 rebounds, 1.1 assists, 0.5 steals and 0.8 three-pointers on 43.1 percent shooting from the field.

Bryce McGowens
Drops 20 points in loss

McGowens played a season-high 37 minutes Wednesday with Trey Murphy (back), Herbert Jones (ankle), Jose Alvarado (oblique) and Saddiq Bey (hip) all sidelined. The 23-year-old guard made the most of his opportunity, finishing third on the team in scoring only behind Jordan Poole and Zion Williamson. Primarily playing in a reserve role this season, McGowens is averaging 8.1 points, 2.2 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 0.7 steals while shooting 50 percent from downtown in 19.3 minutes per game.

Dyson Daniels
Stuffs stat sheet in win

Daniels notched his seventh straight game scoring in double figures and led the team with eight assists in Wednesday's win. He also recorded three steals for the first time since Dec. 1 after tallying nine games with at least three swipes in October and November. With Trae Young traded to Washington on Wednesday, Daniels should continue to serve as one of Atlanta's top playmaking options. The 22-year-old guard is averaging 13.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, 6.5 assists and 1.4 steals in 34.9 minutes per game over his last 15 outings.

Justin Edwards
Assigned to G League

In his lone NBA appearance since being recalled, Edwards played in just six minutes and split a pair of free throws, and he's now back on his way to the G League. In two G League games, Edwards is averaging 29.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 3.5 steals, 0.5 blocks and 3.5 threes across 36.5 minutes.

Jakob Poeltl
Set to practice Thursday

After he was recently cleared to resume taking contact, Poeltl will take another important step forward in his recovery from a lower-back strain by taking part in drills with his healthy teammates. Even if Poeltl checks out fine following Thursday's workout, he may not be cleared to play Friday in Boston, but it's apparent nonetheless that the veteran center is close to a return. Grange notes that the Raptors don't plan on re-signing recently waived big man Mo Bamba to a 10-day deal with the expectation that Poeltl will be back in the fold soon.

Jordan Clarkson
Scores 12 points off bench in win

Clarkson strung together some rather quiet performances since his 20-point outing Dec. 31, but he seems to have gotten back on track Wednesday against the Clippers. With Josh Hart (ankle) projected to return in the coming days, Clarkson's usage may take a hit, but the latter will still be one of the most important contributors off the bench.

Karl-Anthony Towns
Double-doubles in win

While Towns did not shoot the ball well again, he did get 10 trips to the free-throw line and was able to convert on eight of them. In his last five appearances, Towns is averaging 16.2 points, 9.0 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 0.8 steals, 0.6 blocks and 1.0 threes across 30.2 minutes while shooting a measly 38.6 percent from the field and 25.0 percent from deep.

OG Anunoby
Goes for 20 in win

Anunoby logged his eighth 20-point game of the season on terrific efficiency, and he continues to be a big part of the Knicks' offense. In his last 15 appearances, Anunoby is averaging 14.9 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.7 steals, 0.8 blocks and 1.5 threes across 33.5 minutes.

Jimmy Butler
Scores 21 points in win

The Warriors are suddenly trending up with a 4-2 stretch over their last six games. Butler hasn't shot the ball well in that span with a 43.8 percent mark from the field, but his counting stats have been solid with 19.8 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 1.7 steals in 33.1 minutes per contest.

Brandin Podziemski
Held to two points

Podziemski continues to be a hit-or-miss fantasy asset off the bench for Golden State. Over his last eight games, he's averaging 9.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 0.5 steals and 1.5 three-pointers in 24.9 minutes per contest. That places him outside the top-150 players in nine-category formats in that span.

Mikal Bridges
Provides all-around effort in win

Bridges grabbed nine boards, his most since Oct. 28, and extended his steals streak to eight games. While Bridges has not been scoring the ball as much recently, failing to cross the 20-point threshold in each of his last nine contests, he has found ways to contribute as a playmaker and as a defensive force, which has been vital to the Knicks' success.

De'Anthony Melton
Scores 22 points in win

Melton was a major bright spot for the Warriors and posted a season-high 22 points. He still has restrictions, including during back-to-back sets, but he's trending up with averages of 12.2 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.7 steals, 0.5 blocks and 2.0 three-pointers in 24.2 minutes over his last six games.

Gary Trent
Another quiet outing

Trent is in the midst of a cold spell for the Bucks, and his minutes have taken a hit as a result. Over his last five outings, Trent has averaged 5.4 points, 1.4 assists, 1.2 rebounds and 1.4 three-pointers in 19.4 minutes per contest.

Jalen Johnson
Adds 19 points in win

Johnson didn't have his best statistical outing in the win, finishing with more turnovers (six) than assists for just the fourth time this season. His five dimes marked his lowest since Nov. 7, but he still extended his streak of games with at least five assists to 27, the third-longest in the league this season. The star forward should continue to rack up the counting stats with star point guard Trae Young traded to the Wizards on Wednesday. Johnson has averaged 25.3 points, 9.9 rebounds, 8.5 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.7 blocks in 36.4 minutes per contest over his last 11 games.

Miles McBride
Scores 16 points in start

McBride was elevated to the starting lineup over Mitchell Robinson and stuffed the stat sheet. In 11 starts this season, McBride is averaging 14.2 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 0.6 steals, 0.2 blocks and 3.3 threes across 33.8 minutes, and with Josh Hart (ankle) still sidelined, there is a good chance McBride will continue to see an elevated role until Hart returns or if head coach Mike Brown decides to roll out a bigger starting lineup.

Myles Turner
Scores 13 points in loss

This was just an average showing for Turner, as he's yet to truly find his stride with his new team. It's worth mentioning that the Bucks are reportedly going to be buyers ahead of the trade deadline to bring in more help for Giannis Antetokounmpo, so more competition for touches could be on the way.

Ivica Zubac
Posts another double-double in loss

Zubac seems to have returned to form after missing five games due to an ankle injury, as he converted 11 of his 14 field goals and grabbed a season-high eight offensive boards. Zubac's return means fewer minutes for Brook Lopez, who already has been trending downwards despite starting while the former was sidelined.

Ryan Rollins
Bright spot in loss

Despite another solid showing from Rollins, Milwaukee's two-game winning streak came to an end Wednesday. Rollins has been a breakout player for the Bucks this season, and he's currently on pace to return fourth-round value in nine-category formats with 17.2 points, 5.7 assists, 4.4 rebounds, 1.6 steals and 2.4 three-pointers across 37 regular-season outings.

Dylan Harper
Posts dud in win

This was a tough showing for the rookie, and even with Devin Vassell (thigh) out of the lineup, the competition for touches remains very high. Over his last eight outings, Harper ranks outside the top-200 players in nine-category fantasy formats with 8.3 points, 3.4 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.3 steals and 0.5 three-pointers.

John Collins
Double-doubles in loss

Collins has been scorching from the field in his last five games, as he is averaging 16.4 points on 72.1 percent from the field and 2.2 threes on a 61.1 percent clip in that span. After losing Derrick Jones (knee) again for the next six weeks, the team will likely rely on Collins and Nicolas Batum to round out the power forward position.

Stephon Castle
Solid line in win

This was a solid showing from Castle, though his overall fantasy appeal has been lacking in recent weeks. Over his last eight games, he ranks outside the top-200 players in nine-category formats with averages of 15.5 points, 6.8 assists, 4.8 rebounds, 1.4 steals and 0.5 three-pointers on 42.3 percent shooting from the field and 78.0 percent from the line.

Keldon Johnson
Erupts for 27 points in win

This was Johnson's fifth game of the campaign with at least 20 points. He took advantage of some extra touches with Devin Vassell (thigh) still on the shelf, but the competition for shots in San Antonio remains very high with so much offensive firepower on the roster. Over his last eight games, Johnson has produced averages of 15.5 points, 6.6 rebounds, 0.8 steals and 1.6 three-pointers in 24.5 minutes per contest.

Kawhi Leonard
Drops 25 points in loss

Leonard has been on quite the tear recently, averaging 34.1 points, 7.1 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 2.5 steals, 1.3 blocks and 3.4 threes across 37.1 minutes in his last eight appearances. Although he has cooled off in his past three contests, failing to cross the 30-point threshold in that span, his offensive activity has been essential to the Clippers' success.

Jon Elmore
Scores season-high points Wednesday

Elmore got the start for just the third time this campaign and ended up having one of his strongest outings, scoring a season-high 32 points while shooting an efficient 50.0 from the floor. Across 20 games played, the 6-foot-3 guard is currently averaging 9.5 points, 3.2 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.0 steals.

Maxi Kleber
Sees 12 minutes in loss

With the Lakers getting some solid minutes out of Jarred Vanderbilt lately, Kleber continues to be limited to scraps off the bench. Over his last four appearances, he's seen just 10.1 minutes per contest.

Bobi Klintman
Back in action in G League

Klintman made his first appearance at either the NBA or G League level since Dec. 27 after he had recently been sidelined due to a left adductor strain. Assuming he didn't experience any setbacks during Wednesday's contest, Klintman should see his playing time pick up in his future G League appearances. The second-year forward is a member of Detroit's 15-man roster but is unlikely to see meaningful minutes with the Pistons anytime soon.

Zion Williamson
Productive in loss

Williamson delivered a balanced stat line in Wednesday's loss at Atlanta, leading the team in points and matching a team high in assists. The 25-year-old has re-entered the starting lineup over the past six games after coming off the bench in seven straight following his return from a right adductor injury Dec. 14. The star forward is averaging 24.5 points, 6.2 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.0 steals while shooting 61.6 percent from the field in 29.8 minutes per contest over the past six games.

Jake LaRavia
Notches 16 points in loss

LaRavia has been a major bright spot for the Lakers in recent weeks, as he continues to flourish on both ends of the court. Over his last seven games, LaRavia has produced fifth-round value in nine-category formats with averages of 13.3 points, 5.1 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.7 steals, 0.6 blocks and 1.9 three-pointers.

Rui Hachimura
Practices in G League on Wednesday

Hachimura is still recovering from a right calf strain that has held him out for the last five games, but his return to basketball activities is encouraging, and he may take the court soon. He can be considered questionable to suit up Friday against Milwaukee.

Tristen Newton
Dominant in G League loss

Newton had a dominant outing despite the loss, as he led the team in scoring, assists and steals. He has now totaled 30 or more points in eight games this season. The 24-year-old signed a two-way deal with Houston last week but has yet to be called up to the NBA and will likely continue seeing the majority of his action in the G League.

Marcus Smart
Muted performance in loss

Smart continues to see a lot of minutes for the Lakers, though his fantasy impact has been underwhelming. Over his last seven outings, he's averaging 6.6 points, 4.1 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 1.4 steals and 0.9 three-pointers in 30.2 minutes per contest.

Kris Dunn
Cools off in loss

Dunn was unable to follow up his strong performance against the Warriors on Monday, shooting poorly from the field and recording no defensive stats for just the fourth time this season. While Dunn has not been consistent in his shot efficiency, he is averaging 8.5 points, 3.0 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 1.4 steals, 0.2 blocks and 1.2 threes across 28.0 minutes in 30 starts and continues to be an integral part of the Clippers' first unit.

Malik Williams
Waived by Atlanta

Williams signed a two-way deal with the Hawks back on Dec. 23, but the Hawks will quickly pivot in another direction. Williams has been a standout in the G League and is likely to draw leaguewide interest.

James Harden
Nearly double-doubles in loss

Harden was questionable to play Wednesday with a shoulder injury that held him out of Monday's contest with Golden State. He ultimately played through the injury and drained four three-pointers, his most since Dec. 20. Harden has not been shooting well from the field recently, averaging 22.0 points on just 37.3 percent overall and 29.4 percent from beyond the arc in his last five contests.

Brooks Barnhizer
Sits out in coach's decision

The two-way player had most recently missed four consecutive games in the G League due to a left ankle sprain, but he was deemed healthy enough to rejoin the Thunder ahead of Wednesday's contest. Even though Oklahoma City had just 12 players available against Utah, Barnhizer and fellow two-way player Chris Youngblood didn't end up seeing any run while head coach Mark Daigneault went with a 10-man rotation in the close win. Once the Thunder get another player or two back from injury, Barnhizer will likely head back to the G League in order to see regular minutes.

Zaccharie Risacher
Scores season-high 25 points

Risacher delivered arguably his best performance of the season in the win over New Orleans, setting season highs in both points and rebounds. The 20-year-old forward also saw a season-high 34 minutes and knocked down a career-best seven three-pointers, topping his previous high of four set Nov. 25. It marked Risacher's first 20-point outing since Nov. 4. For the season, the 2024 No. 1 overall pick is averaging 11.2 points, 3.3 rebounds, 1.6 threes, 1.4 assists and 0.9 steals across 24.6 minutes per game.

Aaron Gordon
Drills two triples

Gordon is getting back up to speed after returning from a hamstring injury, and he took another step in the right direction Wednesday night. He's scored in double figures off the bench in each of his first two games back and saw his workload increase to 23 minutes in Boston. It's unclear when Gordon will be released from a minutes limit, but Peyton Watson should continue to benefit until that time comes.

Payton Pritchard
Posts solid all-around showing

Pritchard was unable to find his groove from beyond the arc Wednesday, but he saved his night by getting to the charity stripe. The Oregon product has now registered at least one steal in eight straight games and is averaging 16.6 points, 4.9 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 1.4 steals in 35.0 minutes during this stretch.

Luka Garza
Scores in double figures

Garza has come to life to open January by scoring in double digits in three of his first four appearances of the month. He's averaging 21.8 minutes over this stretch. He should continue to see opportunities at center, as he appears to be close on the heels of Neemias Queta, who is averaging 23.8 minutes over this same four-game span.

Neemias Queta
Huge night on boards

Queta wasn't all that involved as a scorer, but he made up for it by posting a massive showing on the glass. He secured a season-high 20 boards and has now pulled down double-digit rebounds in back-to-back appearances. Queta is averaging 10.0 points, 11.8 rebounds and 1.3 blocks through four appearances to begin the month.
