Clifford is officially under contract for the 2027-28 campaign. The 24-year-old has totaled just 19 minutes over two regular-season appearances so far this season, averaging 3.0 points while shooting 42.9 percent from the field. He also didn't see the floor in Sunday's loss to Memphis.
Okorie made his NBA regular-season debut Sunday, scoring his first points at the charity stripe. The rookie first-rounder is unlikely to see meaningful playing time early on unless Cade Cunningham or Daniss Jenkins misses time.
Hendricks entered the Memphis rotation for the first time this season after going unused off the bench for the team's first two games. However, he appears to be well behind Isaiah Stewart (ankle), who is listed as questionable for Monday's game at Utah, Jerami Grant and Quinten Post in the frontcourt pecking order.
After going scoreless in four minutes during his NBA debut Saturday against Milwaukee, Philon saw an expanded role Sunday and scored his first regular-season points. The rookie guard knocked down his first NBA three-pointer and provided a modest spark off the bench. The 22nd overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft remains a developmental option for Philadelphia and holds limited fantasy appeal in his current role.
Dennis is joining the Skyhawks for their training camp. He's expected to spend the majority of his time with the G League squad this season.
Gilbert will join College Park alongside RayJ Dennis and Jalen Wilson. The move should provide Gilbert with additional opportunities to develop and see consistent playing time.
There was an error on the Thunder's initial injury report, so both Thomas Sorber (knee) and Topic will remain sidelined Monday. He's without a clear timetable for a return to action.
It appeared earlier Monday on the Thunder's injury report that Sorber was ready to make his season debut, but it was a clerical error. Sorber's return timeline remains in the dark due to offseason knee surgery.
Stewart may be held out of the second leg of this back-to-back set after posting 13 points, five rebounds, two assists, two blocks and a steal across 22 minutes while starting in the absence of Zach Edey (injury management) during Sunday's win over Sacramento. If Stewart is ultimately ruled out, Quinten Post would likely see increased playing time behind Edey.
The rookie first-rounder has a chance to be cleared for his NBA debut Monday. However, Lopez may not see meaningful playing time even if he's available Monday.
This was the expectation after Edey sat out the first part of this back-to-back set for maintenance reasons. The Grizzlies appear to be easing the big man into a full workload after he missed the start of training camp due to ankle and elbow surgeries, as Edey has yet to transcend 22 minutes in either of his first two regular-season appearances.
Hayes could be held out of the second leg of this back-to-back set after posting nine points, five rebounds, a steal and an assist in 19 minutes during Sunday's loss to the Lakers. If the big man joins Jusuf Nurkic (foot) on the inactive list, Kyle Filipowski and Mo Bamba would be candidates to see increased minutes off the bench.
Diallo was initially listed as doubtful for this contest, and the Nuggets will err on the side of caution. The defensive specialist will have a chance to return Wednesday against the Pelicans.
Suggs suffered the injury during Sunday's win over the Knicks when his right knee buckled following a layup attempt. Fortunately, further testing revealed no major structural damage, though the 25-year-old will miss at least two weeks before being re-evaluated. Anthony Black and Jase Richardson could see increased opportunities in Orlando's backcourt during Suggs' absence.
Nembhard tallied 14 points (5-8 FG, 4-6 3Pt), one rebound, three assists and one steal in 30 minutes during Indiana's win over Brooklyn on Sunday, but it appears he picked up a neck issue in the process. If he's unable to suit up for the second half of the Pacers' back-to-back set, Quenton Jackson and Jalen Slawson would likely see increased playing time.
Ighodaro remains sidelined with an oblique strain. Khaman Maluach should continue to start at center for the Suns and offer enhanced fantasy value as long as Ighodaro is out.
Topic is ready to make his season debut following offseason back surgery. His return comes at an opportune juncture for the Thunder, as Topic helps fortify the team's backcourt depth after Oklahoma City lost Jalen Williams to a serious ankle injury Sunday.
Sorber is no longer on the injury report for the Thunder. With how impressive Aday Mara has been in limited run, Sorber is unlikely to crack the rotation right away.
McConnell's 2026-27 debut will have to wait at least one more game as he continues battling a hamstring strain. His next opportunity to suit up will be against the 76ers on Wednesday.
Williams left Sunday's game early with wrist soreness, but he's not listed on the injury report for the second leg of this back-to-back set. He's likely to reprise his role as the backup center.
The injury is being labeled as shoulder soreness for Wallace, who left Sunday's game against the Clippers early. Jared McCain and Ajay Mitchell figure to see expanded roles with Wallace out, while Alex Caruso is also in the mix for more playing time.
The star big man is sitting out the second part of this back-to-back set. Jaylin Williams and Kenrich Williams should help pick up the slack at power forward for the Thunder on Monday, with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander likely soaking up all the usage he can handle.
Nesmith is expected to suit up for the second leg of this back-to-back set. He was limited to 19 minutes Sunday against the Nets, finishing with 13 points, two assists and one rebound.
No surprises here after coach Rick Carlisle hinted at Zubac's absence following his injury Sunday night. The center is dealing with some swelling, but it's currently unclear how long this will sideline him for. Look for Jay Huff and possibly Larry Nance to pick up some minutes in the meantime.
Sanders was one of three Clippers to tally double figures in scoring off the bench in what was his most productive game so far in 2026-27. With Rui Hachimura struggling with his shot early in the season (26.3/31.6/55.6 shooting splits), Sanders could earn more opportunities going forward.
Hartenstein secured his first double-double of 2026-27 while playing his most minutes through three contests so far. Oklahoma City's starting center is averaging 7.3 points, 7.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 0.7 blocks and 0.7 steals in 22.3 minutes, and his playing time could increase slightly with Jaylin Williams (wrist) leaving Sunday's win in the first half.
After not receiving any playing time in the Nets' first two games of the season, Wolf got some run with Brooklyn trailing by double digits for nearly the entire second half. With Noah Clowney, Chaney Johnson and Moritz Wagner occupying most of the frontcourt minutes in the second unit, it seems like Wolf will be the odd man out on most nights.
The 20 minutes were his lowest of 2026-27 through three contests, but Toppin still finished third on the team in scoring as a reserve. Following an injury-plagued 2025-26, he's been stellar so far with averages of 16.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 2.7 three-pointers on 58.1/44.4/83.3 shooting splits in 23.2 minutes a night. Toppin looks poised for a big year as a key piece of Indiana's bench and could see an expanded role in the short term if Ivica Zubac (ankle) misses extended time.
Carter cooled off a bit Sunday after dropping at least 20 points in two prior appearances, but he came down with a season-high 10 boards. The big man should continue to play a key role at center for the Magic, but fantasy managers should anticipate some regression coming at some point for Carter.
Anthony Black made his season debut Sunday, but Paolo Banchero is facing an extended absence with a high-ankle sprain and Jalen Suggs left Sunday's game early with a knee injury. Da Silva should remain worth streaming in most fantasy leagues as Orlando's sixth man for the foreseeable future.
After totaling just six minutes through his first two outings in 2026-27, Nance played the most of any Pacers reserve on Sunday. The game script was likely the cause of the eruption in playing time. Indiana led by double digits for nearly the entire second half in its 27-point victory over Brooklyn, and Ivica Zubac (ankle) left the game early. If Zubac misses time, Nance could see a more consistent role moving forward.
The six points were actually a season high for Bridges, who has really struggled to get going so far this year. The forward has still yet to knock down a single three-pointer, having gone 0-for-10 from beyond the arc, but Bridges should remain a starter for the defending-champion Knicks moving forward.
Collier finished second on the team in assists despite his limited playing time, and he now has 13 dimes over his last two outings. With Darryn Peterson and Keyonte George commanding most of the minutes in Utah's backcourt, Collier is averaging just 15.7 minutes per game, which would be a career low in his third NBA season.
With Ty Jerome taking the league by storm in the early going, Spencer is falling behind in the race for minutes at point guard. Spencer should continue battling with Scotty Pippen for backup playing time.
Despite the absence of the resting Zach Edey at center, Post didn't see a bump in playing time Sunday. Post appears to be stuck in the backup center role and could continue to struggle for fantasy relevance.
Peterson was the only Jazz starter to have a positive plus-minus, despite his shot not falling. The second overall pick in the 2026 draft added four combined steals and blocks, representing his first tallies in each statistical category to begin his career. Through three outings, Peterson is averaging 10.7 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.0 steals in 30.3 minutes.
Stewart got the start for the resting Zach Edey on Sunday, chipping in a full stat line. Stewart is in line to revert to the bench Monday in Utah.
Holland struggled to find his shooting touch but made his presence felt elsewhere, finishing one rebound shy of double digits while contributing three combined steals and blocks. The forward also played aggressive defense against Jaylen Brown, helping Detroit secure its third straight victory. With Ausar Thompson (ankle) sidelined, Holland could continue seeing increased opportunities, though his inconsistent offensive production limits his fantasy appeal.
Kuminga made the most of his limited shot attempts, knocking down three triples while committing no turnovers. The forward also contributed defensively and finished with a plus-23 rating in his 26 minutes. His efficiency was encouraging, though his fantasy ceiling will depend on whether he can establish a more substantial offensive role alongside Anthony Edwards.
Wade drew the start and logged substantial playing time with Philadelphia's frontcourt shorthanded, though he attempted just four shots. His defensive contributions helped offset the limited scoring, but his low offensive usage makes him difficult to trust outside deeper fantasy formats. Wade could continue seeing significant minutes while the Sixers deal with injuries up front.
Bona made a significant impact on the defensive end, pairing a game-high 13 rebounds with three blocks while collecting five offensive boards. The 23-year-old benefited from Joel Embiid's absence and Philadelphia's depleted frontcourt, making a strong case for additional playing time. Bona offers intriguing short-term fantasy value for managers seeking rebounds and blocks, though his opportunities could diminish once Embiid returns.
The 22-year-old grabbed a season-high six rebounds during Utah's second loss of the 2026-27 campaign. Sensabaugh will continue operating in a reserve role behind Ace Bailey and Lauri Markkanen in the frontcourt.
Even with Cedric Coward back in the lineup, Wells maintained strong production Sunday. Wells has put up at least 12 points and four rebounds in each of his first three appearances, so he can be streamed in fantasy leagues while he's running a bit hot.
Graves delivered an efficient performance off Toronto's bench, contributing across several statistical categories despite playing just 20 minutes. The rookie's six rebounds and four assists were particularly encouraging, while his defensive contributions added to his well-rounded showing. Graves could earn additional opportunities if he continues producing at this level, making him a player to monitor in deeper fantasy leagues.
The rookie second-rounder has somewhat surprisingly nailed down a rotation spot in the early going with the rebuilding Kings. That's perhaps due to Ben Simmons going down for the season with an Achilles injury, but Sharp isn't quite yet on fantasy radars in most leagues.
After scoring in double figures in each of the Lakers' first two contests to begin 2026-27, Grimes deferred to Collin Sexton, who finished with 13 points in 20 minutes off the bench. The 26-year-old is averaging 8.7 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.0 assists in 26.0 minutes a night to begin his tenure in Los Angeles.
With Kawhi Leonard (knee) sidelined, Quickley was one of Toronto's more effective offensive contributors, finishing third on the team in scoring while connecting on three shots from beyond the arc. However, he managed just two assists despite operating as a starting guard. Quickley's scoring and three-point production remain encouraging, but fantasy managers will want to see more consistent contributions as a facilitator.
With the Kings' frontcourt banged up, Plowden has appeared in all of the team's first three games. However, he can likely be left on waiver wires in most fantasy leagues until his contributions become more pronounced.
With Kawhi Leonard (knee) sidelined, Barrett finished as Toronto's second-leading scorer despite struggling with his efficiency, particularly from the free-throw line. The forward remained aggressive offensively, attempting a team-high 21 shots, while his three steals provided additional fantasy value. Barrett should continue handling a significant offensive role for the Raptors, though his inconsistent shooting remains a concern.
Keegan Murray sat out Sunday with an ankle injury, allowing Mogbo to play an expanded role. Once the G League season begins, the two-way player is likely to report to the Stockton Kings.
Mamukelashvili is averaging 7.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 22.3 minutes per game as the backup to Ziaire Williams and Walker Kessler in the frontcourt. Mamukelashvili will continue to provide solid contributions in three-pointers and rebounds for the revamped Lakers, but his upside is limited as a reserve.
Hunter is off to a sluggish start to the new campaign. The forward has yet to score in double digits in any of his first three appearances, but he should be able to hang on to a starting role with the rebuilding Kings going forward.
Martin will miss his fourth straight game to begin the 2026-27 season. His absence won't have any effect on the Mavericks' rotation, and he can be considered week-to-week moving forward.
Minnesota is considering giving the superstar guard the night off for the second half of this back-to-back set. Ayo Dosunmu and Terrence Shannon would both have added fantasy appeal if Edwards sits out Monday.
Flagg was carrying a questionable tag prior to this update with his mild shoulder sprain. He made it through the morning shootaround with no setbacks, however, and the Mavericks are now preparing for their star forward to suit up. For now, there's no word of potential restrictions.
Smart was previously labeled as questionable for Houston. With Smart sidelined for a second straight contest, the Rockets could lean more on Reed Sheppard and Bogdan Bogdanovic. Smart's next chance to play comes Wednesday against the Bucks.
Drummond was pulled by coach Mike Brown early on due to a lack of effort. James Wiseman picked up seven minutes as a result, making this a situation to monitor in very deep formats. Drummond has been limited to seven minutes in two straight games following his strong showing on Opening Night.
Garland led the Clippers in scoring and recorded his first double-double of the season, though he struggled from beyond the arc and committed six turnovers against Oklahoma City's aggressive defense. With Brandon Ingram (Achilles) and Max Strus (foot) sidelined, Garland continues to handle substantial offensive responsibilities, giving him a strong opportunity to produce points and assists despite his early-season efficiency issues.
Wagler continued to receive substantial playing time off the bench, reaching double figures for the third consecutive game to begin his NBA career. The rookie struggled with his shooting and committed four turnovers, but his perfect performance at the charity stripe and contributions as a rebounder and facilitator were encouraging. His early involvement in the rotation makes him worth monitoring in deeper fantasy leagues.
Given the circumstances of the injury, it's quite remarkable to see Flagg doing so well. He was diagnosed with a sprain Saturday, but the injury seems to be progressing, and it's being described as a mild issue. He remains listed as questionable on the injury report.
Reid appears likely to suit up against the Wizards, though his availability will be confirmed closer to tipoff. Assuming he's cleared, the big man should continue handling his usual role in Charlotte's frontcourt.
Sabonis followed his triple-double against Portland on Friday with another dominant rebounding performance, collecting at least 15 boards for a third straight game, and he easily leads the league out of the gate in rebounding at 17.3 per game. Sabonis remains a reliable source of rebounds and efficient scoring while also consistently filling the stat sheet. Through three games, he has two double-doubles and one triple-double while shooting an impressive -- yet unsustainable -- 80.8 percent from the floor.
Achiuwa recorded a double-double while adding five combined steals and blocks, delivering valuable fantasy production despite an abysmal free-throw performance. His 38-minute workload was encouraging, though it was a direct consequence of Keegan Murray (ankle) being unavailable. Achiuwa is a player to keep close tabs on due to his per-minute production, efficient shooting and solid defensive contributions -- regardless of whether he's starting or not -- as he's played at least 25 minutes in every game for Sacramento so far this season.
Saraf will have an opportunity to receive more consistent playing time with Brooklyn's G League affiliate after seeing limited action early in the NBA season. The second-year guard faces considerable competition for backcourt minutes with the Nets and is unlikely to hold significant fantasy value unless his role expands.
Powell will continue his development with Long Island after struggling to carve out a consistent role in Brooklyn's rotation. The second-year wing could return to the NBA roster as needed, but he isn't currently positioned to provide meaningful fantasy production.
Acuff remained heavily involved offensively, attempting 23 shots while leading Sacramento with seven assists, but his efficiency was underwhelming. The volume is there, as Acuff has attempted at least 23 shots in every game so far this season, but he's making just 32.9 percent of his attempts overall and 14.8 percent of his threes. The rookie should keep getting opportunities to develop as a primary ball-handler, though his fantasy production could fluctuate until his shooting efficiency improves.
Jefferson will head to Brooklyn's G League affiliate to receive additional developmental opportunities after seeing limited action at the NBA level. The rookie forward could move between Brooklyn and Long Island throughout the season but remains off the fantasy radar in standard leagues.
Coward recorded his first double-double of the season and posted another efficient performance while surpassing the 30-minute plateau for the first time in 2026-27. His efficient perimeter shooting also provided a boost. It's still early in the season, but Coward's consistent playing time and rebounding production are encouraging for fantasy managers, although his scoring opportunities could fluctuate alongside Memphis' other offensive options.
Jackson delivered a well-rounded performance in his third consecutive start, grabbing four offensive rebounds while contributing defensively. Although he missed both free-throw attempts and committed four turnovers, his ability to provide rebounds, steals and blocks makes him an intriguing option in deeper fantasy formats while he continues to receive meaningful minutes.
Boozer had a rough shooting night, but he made up for it with his rebounding and defensive contributions. He's taken at least 13 shots in every game, so he's enjoying a big role on offense right from the get-go, but he's shooting just 28.6 percent from the floor. Boozer's ability to contribute across multiple categories gives him considerable fantasy upside, although his efficiency remains an issue.
Jerome continued his impressive start to the season, reaching the 30-point mark for the second time in three games. His perfect 14-for-14 performance at the free-throw line compensated for a difficult night from beyond the arc, while his six assists showed he's more than just a scoring threat out of the backcourt. He's had at least 25 points and five dimes in his first three outings of the season, and while he was widely seen as a breakout candidate for the 2026-27 campaign, these numbers are surpassing even the most optimistic expectations.
Caldwell-Pope entered the starting lineup due to VJ Edgecombe (abdomen) being sidelined, but the former didn't have a big scoring impact. His 31 minutes were a season high, despite a brief injury scare. Caldwell-Pope is likely to return to his bench role Wednesday in Indiana if Edgecombe is cleared to return, but even if he stays in the first unit, the veteran doesn't produce enough to be an attractive waiver-wire option outside deeper fantasy formats.
McCain struggled to find his shooting touch but received an extended opportunity after Cason Wallace exited early with a left shoulder injury. With Wallace's availability uncertain and Jalen Williams suffering a potentially serious leg injury late in the contest, McCain could see additional playing time in Oklahoma City's depleted rotation. However, he'll need to improve his efficiency to establish consistent fantasy value.
Gilgeous-Alexander bounced back from a rare sub-20-point performance Thursday, scoring 16 points in the third quarter to help Oklahoma City overcome a deficit. With Jalen Williams suffering a serious left leg injury late in Sunday's contest, Gilgeous-Alexander could be asked to shoulder an even larger offensive workload moving forward.
Brown endured his least efficient shooting performance of the young season, converting just 25 percent of his field-goal attempts despite playing a season-high 40 minutes. The substantial workload and 20 shot attempts were encouraging, particularly with Philadelphia missing two starters. However, his limited defensive contributions and inefficient scoring resulted in a disappointing fantasy outing. Don't expect Brown to struggle at this rate on a regular basis, though, and he's more likely to bounce back rather than getting into a cold streak in future games.
Caruso delivered an excellent all-around performance off the bench, leading Oklahoma City in assists while contributing across every major statistical category. With Cason Wallace exiting early due to a left shoulder injury and Jalen Williams suffering a serious leg injury late in the contest, Caruso could see increased playing time and playmaking opportunities in the coming games.
James returned after sitting out Saturday's win over Milwaukee, taking on a larger offensive role with Joel Embiid (heel) and VJ Edgecombe (abdomen) unavailable. He's yet to score 20 or more points in a game this season, though that's expected since he has to share the court with Embiid, Tyrese Maxey and Jaylen Brown. His production should remain useful across multiple categories, but James' days of being a go-to scorer and 20-point producer seem to be gone.
With Jose Alvarado (ankle) sidelined, Kolek entered the rotation after sitting out New York's first two games and made the most of his opportunity as a facilitator. He led the Knicks with nine assists without committing a turnover, an impressive showing in limited minutes. However, his playing time could decrease once Alvarado returns, making Kolek a speculative fantasy option outside deeper leagues.
Anunoby turned in an efficient offensive performance, matching Karl-Anthony Towns for second on the team in scoring while converting half of his six three-point attempts. He scored 10 points in the fourth quarter as New York attempted to hold off Orlando's comeback, but his lack of defensive statistics limited his overall fantasy production.
Hart delivered a respectable performance across multiple categories, tying his season high with three three-pointers while finishing second on the team in rebounds. His nine attempts from beyond the arc were notable, though his fantasy value continues to hinge primarily on his rebounding and complementary production rather than scoring.
Brunson led all scorers with 28 points but struggled with his efficiency, particularly from beyond the arc and at the charity stripe. The star guard accounted for 28 of New York's 102 points, though his four assists were a modest total considering his substantial offensive workload. Brunson remains the Knicks' primary scoring option despite the team's 0-3 start.
Bane bounced back from a scoreless first quarter, finishing with four three-pointers while contributing across multiple categories. With Paolo Banchero (ankle) sidelined and Jalen Suggs suffering a right knee injury late in Sunday's contest, Bane could be asked to shoulder an even larger offensive workload in the coming games.
Richardson made his first career start with Paolo Banchero (ankle) sidelined, though he struggled to make much of an impact offensively. The second-year guard could remain in line for additional opportunities if Jalen Suggs' right knee injury forces him to miss time, but Anthony Black's strong season debut may limit Richardson's upside.
Black made an immediate impact in his first appearance of the season, connecting on five three-pointers while providing a spark off Orlando's bench. He was expected to operate under a minutes restriction but still logged 26 minutes before fouling out. With Jalen Suggs suffering a right knee injury late in Sunday's contest and Paolo Banchero (ankle) out for at least a month, Black could see an expanded role in the backcourt if Suggs misses time.
Robinson has drained exactly five three-pointers in each of his first three outings this season and has cleared the 20-point threshold twice, so he's undoubtedly making the most of his opportunities as a spot-up shooter while playing alongside Cade Cunningham, one of the league's best playmakers. Even though his fantasy production is strongly tied to his perimeter shooting, he's surpassed expectations so far. He averaged just 12.2 points and 2.9 three-pointers made per game in the 2025-26 regular season.
Collins followed his 23-point performance against Miami with his first double-double of the season, taking advantage of Jalen Duren's absence (hamstring) to play an expanded frontcourt role. Collins should remain productive, although his rebounding opportunities and minutes could decrease once Duren returns. That said, Collins is entrenched as the starting power forward and has done a good job of filling the void left by Tobias Harris (calf), who departed in the offseason to join the Spurs.
Jenkins capitalized on an expanded role with Ausar Thompson (ankle) sidelined, playing a team-high 38 minutes and contributing across several categories. His late three-pointer helped secure Detroit's victory, while his rebounding and playmaking added considerable fantasy value. However, his long-term outlook remains tied to the Pistons' injury situation, as a healthier rotation could reduce his opportunities moving forward.
LaVine continued his run of strong play to begin the season, exploding for a game-high 37 points on solid efficiency. The 31-year-old pro has totaled at least 20 points and three three-pointers made in each of the team's first three games. He figures to maintain a high level of usage alongside rookie guard Darius Acuff this season.
It took a while for Maxey to get going Sunday, but he turned it on in the second half, scoring 23 of his 29 points. The star guard also made an impact defensively, posting a game-high three steals and adding a block. There was a moment of concern for Maxey when he and John Collins clashed heads and were slow to get up, but both appeared to recover shortly thereafter. Still, it's something to monitor ahead of Wednesday's game against the Pacers.
Ball batted through foul trouble, limiting him to just 17 minutes. However, during his time on the floor, he looked fantastic, continuing what has been a strong start to his career in Minnesota. In three appearances, he has averaged 16.0 points, 6.3 assists, 2.0 steals and 3.7 three-pointers in just 22.8 minutes per game. Assuming he averages close to 30 minutes per game moving forward, there is no reason he can't be a steady top-30 standard league asset.
Mitchell was hoisted into a larger role Sunday due to injuries to Cason Wallace (shoulder) and Jalen Williams (ankle) and put together an impressive all-around performance. Mitchell continued his solid play defensively, following up his career-high five steals Thursday with a three-steal outing Sunday. The 24-year-old pro will likely continue to see an expanded role going forward due to Williams' injury.
McDaniels continued his strong start to the season, providing ample contributions on both ends of the floor. Through the first three games, he has averaged 15.3 points, 6.7 rebounds, 1.3 three-pointers and 2.7 combined steals and blocks. Now playing as the full-time power forward, it isn't surprising to see his rebound and block numbers increasing. Assuming nothing much changes, he should be locked in for a potential top-50 season.
Shannon made the most of what ended up being a blowout win, scoring double digits for the third straight game to begin the season. In three appearances, he has averaged 12.7 points and 2.3 three-pointers, providing Minnesota with worthwhile contributions. Anyone in deeper formats could do worse, given the fact that his role appears relatively secure.
Barnes simply had no rhythm on the offensive end, going 0-for-12 from the field. Thankfully, he managed to add five combined steals and blocks, somewhat salvaging what was otherwise a night to forget. Poor performance aside, Barnes has had a strong start to the season, mostly rewarding anyone who took a chance on him early in drafts.
Poeltl recorded a single rebound and no other stats, turning in what is likely his worst performance of the season. A modest start to the season has raised a lot of questions, particularly around his standard league fantasy value. Although it appears as though he will be the starter moving forward, his playing time and production have both been less than ideal. He remains a hold for now but could certainly be considered a drop in certain situations.
Walter had arguably the best game of his career, taking full advantage of a temporary move into the starting lineup. With Kawhi Leonard out due to knee swelling, Walter did his best to emulate his production, leading the team with 22 points while adding three combined steals and blocks. Assuming Leonard's absence is only short-term, Walter will likely return to the bench sooner rather than later. However, he should at least be on the radar, even in standard leagues, thanks to his impressive start to the season.
Cunningham has been oddly inefficient at the charity stripe over the past two games, going 9-for-14 at the line, but that's not a trend we'd expect to continue for a career 84 percent free-throw shooter. Aside from some minor issues at the line and some carelessness with the turnovers, Cunningham has been solid to start the season, averaging 21.3 points, 8.0 assists, 4.7 rebounds, 2.0 triples, 1.3 steals and 2.0 blocks per game.
Dunn cracked double digits in scoring for the first time this season, and he did so with remarkable efficiency, missing just two shots in 33 minutes of floor time. The scoring will come and go with Dunn, but as long as he's starting in Los Angeles, he should do enough with the assists and defensive stats to warrant a roster spot in fantasy leagues.
Towns has looked great to open the 2026-27 season, scoring efficiently while racking up three straight double-doubles, but that hasn't translated to wins for the defending champs. The Knicks are 0-3 to begin the year, and they'll have their work cut out for them Tuesday against Detroit.
Suggs exited the game late in the fourth quarter due to a non-contact right knee injury and was unable to return. He concluded the contest with four points (2-8 FG, 0-3 3Pt), six rebounds, six assists and three steals in 33 minutes. Initial reports postgame suggest that Suggs will undergo an MRI in the coming days to determine the extent of the injury.
Wagner went to work on the glass, pulling down a career-high 13 rebounds while notching his first double-double of the season. Paolo Banchero is expected to miss the next 4-6 weeks with an ankle injury, and Jalen Suggs exited Sunday's game with what appeared to be a significant knee injury. As a result, Wagner figures to be extremely busy on offense moving forward.
Caldwell-Pope briefly exited the game for the locker room due to an apparent right wrist injury but was able to return. A positive development for an already shorthanded 76ers squad playing the second night of a back-to-back set.
Caldwell-Pope was doubled over in pain during a timeout, appearing to grab at his right wrist before heading to the locker room. If he is unable to return, Anfernee Simons, Labaron Philon and Justin Edwards could see extra minutes.
Suggs couldn't put much pressure at all on his right leg as he was helped back to the locker room, so for now, he should be considered doubtful to return. Anthony Black will likely be elevated to a starting role if Suggs needs to miss time, and there will be more minutes available for Jase Richardson.
Williams suffered a gruesome left ankle injury after crashing to the floor on a drive to the rim, resulting in him being taken off on a stretcher. A devastating development for the star wing, who is coming off an injury-plagued campaign in 2025-26. A considerable layoff seems imminent for Williams, likely leaving minutes for Jared McCain, Ajay Mitchell, Alex Caruso and Kenrich Williams to absorb.
Despite coming off the bench, Minott hauled in a team-high eight boards Sunday. The forward likely saw more playing time because Indiana ran away with this contest in the second half, but Minott made a case Sunday to challenge the struggling Noah Clowney for reserve minutes in the frontcourt.
Indiana pulled away on the scoreboard in the second half, helping Traore show what he's capable of with an expanded role. It's worth noting that rookie first-rounder Mikel Brown rested for the second half of this back-to-back set, so it remains to be seen if Traore showed well enough Sunday to earn more playing time when the Brooklyn backcourt is at full strength.
Ellis continues to make a big impact on the defensive end of the floor, having picked up multiple steals in three straight games to open the season. The expectation is that rookie first-rounder Mikel Brown is eventually going to overtake Ellis for a starting spot in the backcourt once Brown's restrictions are lifted, but Ellis should continue to deliver low-end fantasy numbers until that change is implemented.
Huff started the second half for the injured Ivica Zubac, who rolled his left ankle in the first quarter and didn't return. Head coach Rick Carlisle said following Sunday's victory that Zubac is unlikely to play Monday versus the Bucks, so Huff could be in line to draw his first start of the year his next time out after making 47 regular-season starts for the Pacers in 2025-26.
Siakam flirted with a triple-double Sunday, leading the Pacers in rebounding. The star power forward is red-hot to begin the year, having reached the 20-point plateau in each of his first three games as he readjusts to life with Tyrese Haliburton running the show at point guard.
Haliburton dished out a game-high 10 assists Sunday, setting the scoring pace for both teams. The star point guard hasn't missed a beat since going down with an Achilles injury in Game 7 of the 2025 NBA Finals, putting up at least 18 points and seven assists in each of his first three games of 2026-27.
Zubac rolled his ankle during Sunday's game, and with a quick turnaround, it seems unlikely he'll be ready to roll by Monday. Jay Huff started the second half of Sunday's game and finished with 14 points (5-6 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, three assists and three swats over 21 minutes, so he could make for an attractive streamer Monday. According to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.com, Zubac was spotted leaving the arena on crutches, which suggests this is more than just a minor sprain.
Joe will be sidelined for the remainder of the game due to a hip injury he sustained during a hard fall on a dunk attempt. Kevin Huerter, Ronald Holland and Javonte Green will help pick up the slack. The injury puts Joe's status for Tuesday's game against the Knicks in question.
Joe took a tough spill after a dunk attempt, which may end his evening prematurely. If Joe isn't able to get back out there, Kevin Huerter, Ronald Holland and Javonte Green will help pick up the slack.
With Keegan Murray (ankle) out, Achiuwa will start at power forward alongside Domantas Sabonis in the frontcourt. Achiuwa has enjoyed an excellent start to the season, averaging 14.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.0 steals per game in two appearances off the bench.
This was a nice bounce-back game for Bailey following Friday's six-point, 2-for-8 shooting performance, and he set a new career high in rebounds while recording the second double-double of his career. Bailey has shown flashes before, but he's struggled to put it all together consistently to this point in his career. However, he should continue to get plenty of opportunities while Jusuf Nurkic (foot) is sidelined.
George fell just one rebound shy of nabbing his first career triple-double, and he's now dished out 10 assists in back-to-back games. However, he's also committed 12 turnovers over that two-game stretch.
Markkanen had failed to crack the 20-point plateau through his first two games of the season, but he got hot Sunday and finished as Utah's leading scorer. The 29-year-old forward scored efficiently and committed just one turnover in 38 minutes of floor time, but the Jazz couldn't capitalize on his effort, falling victim to a 52-point barrage from Luka Doncic.
After scoring just three points in the Lakers' season opener, Thybulle has reached double digits in each of the past two games, draining threes and racking up the stocks. Through three games, he's been a sneaky late-round option, averaging 9.0 points, 2.3 triples, 2.0 steals, 1.0 blocks and just 0.3 turnovers per contest.
Jackson got the start Friday due to Cedric Coward (wrist) being out, but the former will return to a reserve role Sunday, with the latter back in action. In two appearances, Jackson is averaging 7.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 1.0 blocks in 17.0 minutes per contest.
The Lakers have gone 3-0 to begin the season, and Reaves has played a significant role in the hot start. He's churning out first-round value, averaging 26.7 points, 6.3 assists, 2.7 triples, 1.7 steals and 1.0 blocks per game on 63.9 percent shooting from the field and 89.7 percent at the stripe.
Doncic put on a masterclass during Sunday's matinee, helping the Lakers claw back from an early 18-point deficit as he notched his first 50-point performance of the season. It was the 10th 50-point game of Doncic's career, and he became just the third Laker in franchise history to tally 50-plus points and 10 assists in a game, joining Elgin Baylor and Jerry West.
The Thunder will be shorthanded in the frontcourt for the rest of the game, as Williams plays a regular role as Isaiah Hartenstein's backup at center. Williams went scoreless (0-1 FG, 0-1 3Pt) and didn't record any other stats in five minutes. His status should be considered questionable for the second half of the back-to-back set Monday against the Suns.
Wallace exited for the locker room with an apparent left shoulder injury during the first quarter and will not be able to return. Jared McCain and Ajay Mitchell figure to see expanded roles with Wallace out. The Thunder play the second half of their back-to-back set Monday against the Suns, so it wouldn't be surprising for Wallace to miss time.
Lopez is dealing with a bone bruise in his right knee, so it wouldn't be shocking if this turned into a multi-game absence for the rookie. That said, he has not been in the rotation this season, so this injury won't impact Memphis' game plan.
Coward sat out Friday's 111-108 win over the Warriors with a left wrist sprain, but he's back in the starting lineup after a one-game absence. He started his lone appearance this season, tallying seven points, seven rebounds, two assists and a block in 28 minutes.
Joe took a hard fall on a dunk attempt, appearing to injure his tailbone before exiting to the locker room. If he is unable to return, Kevin Huerter and Ebuka Okorie could see extra minutes.
Zubac left the game in the first quarter after rolling his left ankle and will not be able to return. Indiana plays the second half of the back-to-back set Monday against the Bucks, making it likely Zubac will be forced to miss at least one additional game. Jay Huff is expected to see an expanded role if Zubac is out.
Wallace drew an offensive foul on Isaiah Jackson and immediately went back to the locker room. He should be considered questionable to return.
Reed will enter the starting five due to Jalen Duren (hamstring) being out. Reed performed well during Friday's win over the Heat, logging 19 points and 11 rebounds in 26 minutes off the bench.
Jenkins gets the start due to Ausar Thompson (ankle) being out. Jenkins holds averages of 7.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 1.0 steals in 26.0 minutes per contest across two appearances this season.
Caldwell-Pope enters the starting lineup due to VJ Edgecombe (abdomen) being out. In three appearances, Caldwell-Pope has averaged 8.3 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.3 steals in 26.3 minutes per contest while shooting 53.8 percent from three.
With Murray unavailable, Precious Achiuwa could get the start and De'Andre Hunter could get a bump in minutes. There will also be more opportunity for Daeqwon Plowden. Murray's next chance to play will come Tuesday in San Antonio.
Edgecombe sustained an abdominal contusion during Saturday's game against the Bucks, and although he was able to return, he has been ruled out for Sunday's game due to the injury. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Anfernee Simons figure to see larger roles in his absence.
Diallo logged 22 minutes in the season opener against the Thunder on Thursday, but now he's at risk of missing a second consecutive contest due to a right wrist sprain. If that's the case, Bryce Hopkins and Cam Whitmore would continue to see extra minutes off the bench.
Johnson is on track to miss his second straight game Monday, which could result in another start for Bryce Hopkins and additional minutes for Trevon Brazile. With Johnson looking unlikely for Monday, it would be wise to bench him in weekly fantasy formats.
Richardson will make his first start of the season Sunday due to the absence of Paolo Banchero (ankle), and the second-year guard will share the backcourt alongside Jalen Suggs, with Desmond Bane and Franz Wagner at the three and four, respectively. Richardson is averaging 4.0 points and 3.0 assists in 14.0 minutes per game in two bench appearances this season.
Walter gets the start due to Kawhi Leonard (knee) being out. In two games this season, Walter has averaged 8.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.5 steals in 23.5 minutes per contest.
This will be Jones' third consecutive game on the inactive list, and it's unclear if he's close to getting back to the court. His next chance to play will come Wednesday in New Orleans.
Zubac rolled his ankle stepping on Kelly Oubre's foot, and while he tried to play through it for a few possessions, he eventually requested out and limped back to the locker room. Larry Nance, Jay Huff and Obi Toppin would help pick up the slack if Zubac needs to miss time.
Ighodaro is on track to miss his second straight game, which should help Duop Reath remain in the rotation. Managers can expect to get official confirmation on Ighodaro's status closer to Monday's tipoff.
Thompson wasn't active at shootaround Sunday morning, so it's not surprising to see the star forward sidelined for this game. Isaiah Joe and Javonte Green are candidates to enter the starting lineup, while Thompson will aim to return against the Knicks on Tuesday.
Leonard wasn't listed on the injury report for Sunday's game, and this late scratch is a huge blow for Toronto since Leonard is a key piece on both ends of the court for the Raptors. Leonard is averaging 19.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 3.5 steals per game in his first two appearances. With the star forward out, Allen Graves is expected to take his place in the starting lineup. Leonard is expected to undergo further testing Monday, and the Raptors will provide an update Tuesday, ahead of Wednesday's matchup against the Magic.
Aaron Nesmith will return to the starting lineup, pushing Walker to the bench. The 23-year-old forward is averaging 2.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 17.5 minutes per tilt across two regular-season appearances (one start).
Nesmith was deemed probable ahead of game time due to a left hamstring injury, but he will be able to play through it. After coming off the bench in his first appearance this season, Nesmith will enter the starting five Sunday.
VanVleet missed the second half of the team's back-to-back set Saturday as he continues to ease back into play following a torn ACL last season, but he will be available Monday. Through two appearances, VanVleet is averaging 10.0 points, 8.0 assists, 3.0 steals and 2.5 rebounds in 31.0 minutes per contest.
Black didn't suit up in the preseason and missed Orlando's first two regular-season games with a right ankle sprain, but he'll shed his questionable tag and return to action Sunday. His return to the lineup will leave fewer minutes available for guys like Jase Richardson and Jevon Carter, though it wouldn't be surprising to see Black operate under a minutes restriction in his first game back.
Smart is in jeopardy of missing a second consecutive contest due to a left forearm strain. If the veteran guard is ultimately ruled out, Reed Sheppard and Bogdan Bogdanovic would be candidates to see an uptick in minutes.
Alvarado was deemed questionable Saturday due to a left ankle sprain, and the veteran guard won't suit up as a result of the injury. Jordan Clarkson and Tyler Kolek should be in line for more playing time. As for Alvarado, his next chance to play will come against the Pistons on Tuesday.
Adams sat out Saturday's win over the Hawks in the second leg of a back-to-back set, though he's now being ruled out due to a right soleus strain. Clint Capela and Jabari Smith will likely see increased burn for as long as Adams is sidelined.
Nesmith was deemed probable ahead of Sunday's game due to a left hamstring strain, but he will be able to play through it. Nesmith made his first appearance of the season Friday, logging nine points (2-7 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 4-6 FT), four rebounds and an assist in 20 minutes off the bench.
Santos exited Saturday's 131-122 loss to the Suns with an undisclosed injury and did not return, and the questionable tag ahead of Monday's game is an issue for a Warriors team that doesn't have a lot of depth at forward at the moment. If Santos can't play Monday, and knowing that Jimmy Butler (knee) and Moses Moody (knee) remain out, Georges Niang and Gary Payton could be in line to see expanded roles versus Denver.
Knueppel will miss a fourth straight outing due to a left hamstring strain, with his next chance to play coming Wednesday at Detroit. The second-year swingman's continued absence will leave additional playing time available for the likes of Sion James and Grayson Allen.
The back issue seems to be new for Williams, but he is expected to play through it Monday. Williams got a spot start Saturday against the Suns due to Golden State resting many players, and he made the most of the opportunity, recording 20 points (5-10 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 8-11 FT), five assists, three rebounds and two steals in 24 minutes.
Podziemski didn't play Saturday against the Suns because of a back issue, but since the shooting guard isn't on the injury report, he should return to the starting lineup Monday. Stephen Curry (rest) is also expected back, so the Warriors could have their starting backcourt against Denver. Podziemski has made just one appearance this season. He finished with 18 points (7-17 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three assists, two rebounds, three steals and one block in a 111-108 loss to the Grizzlies.
Horford was held out of Saturday's loss to Phoenix in the second half of a back-to-back set, though he'll be back in action Monday. His return will leave fewer minutes available for the likes of Graham Ike and Charles Bassey (knee), who is listed as probable.
Bassey has been dealing with a right knee issue for some time, but he is likely to make a second straight appearance. The big man played well during Saturday's loss to the Suns, logging 10 points (4-4 FG, 2-3 FT), seven rebounds and two blocks in just 13 minutes.
Green sat out Saturday's loss to Phoenix in the second leg of a back-to-back set, though he'll return to action Monday. In the first two games of the regular season, the veteran big man averaged 3.5 points, 7.0 assists, 4.5 rebounds and 1.0 blocks in 26.0 minutes per tilt.
Curry didn't play Saturday against the Suns due to rest, but the star floor general isn't listed on Sunday's injury report, so he should be available to suit up Monday. That means Brandon Williams, who started at point guard versus Phoenix, should return to the bench. Curry is averaging 23.5 points per game despite shooting a mere 29.4 percent from three-point range in his two appearances this season.
Edgecombe exited Saturday's game briefly and could miss the second half of the team's back-to-back set due to an abdominal injury. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Anfernee Simons are candidates for extra minutes if Edgecombe is unable to go.
White has yet to play this season due to a left calf strain, and his next chance to suit up will come against the Pistons on Wednesday. Dennis Schroder should continue to handle an expanded role with White sidelined.
Dybantsa will miss a fourth consecutive contest due to a left ankle sprain, and his next chance to play will come Wednesday against Cleveland. With the rookie No. 1 overall pick sidelined, Bilal Coulibaly and Tre Johnson will likely continue seeing increased playing time.
