Drains four triples vs. New York
Miller led the Hornets in scoring during Wednesday's blowout loss, with 12 of his points coming from a season-high four triples. He continues to have his minutes monitored following a 13-game absence due to a left shoulder injury, but his playing time should ramp up as the season progresses. Next up for Miller and the Hornets is Friday's home game against the Bulls.

Struggles in Wednesday's loss
Knueppel entered Wednesday's game connecting on 49.1 percent of his field-goal attempts and 43.8 percent of his three-pointers. However, the rookie struggled with his shot during the blowout loss, and his six points were his lowest since Nov. 1 against the Timberwolves (five points). Still, Knueppel has been one of the bright spots in what has been a poor start to the regular season for the Hornets. Since Nov. 1, he has averaged 20.5 points, 6.4 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 0.8 steals over 35.0 minutes per game.

Not starting Wednesday
James had started 11 of the Hornets' past 12 games, but the rookie wing will move to a reserve role with the team's preferred starting lineup healthy. Still, James should see somewhere in the neighborhood of 20 minutes Wednesday night.
