Let go by Raptors
Castleton played a fairly significant role down the stretch of the 2024-25 season for the Raptors, averaging 7.2 points, 6.9 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 26.2 minutes per game over 11 outings with Toronto, but the team has decided to go in a different direction ahead of the 2025-26 campaign. With Castleton now out the mix, Collin Murray-Boyles, Jonathan Mogbo and Sandro Mamukelashvili are set to battle for frontcourt minutes off the bench.

Double-doubles in SL loss
The 22-year-old led the Raptors in scoring and dished out a game-high 12 assists, albeit in a losing effort. A 2024 second-round pick, Shead averaged 7.1 points and 4.2 assists while shooting 40.5 percent from the field across 19.6 minutes per game in 75 regular-season appearances during his rookie season.

The No. 19 overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, Walter will look to build on his rookie campaign, during which he averaged 8.6 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.6 assists across 21.2 minutes per game in 52 regular-season outings.
