Suspended three games
Schroder got into an altercation with an opposing player in an arena hallway following the Kings' loss to the Lakers on Dec. 28. Now, he'll be sidelined for Sacramento's next three outings, and the veteran point guard's next opportunity to play will come Friday against the Wizards. In the meantime, Keon Ellis, Nique Clifford and Malik Monk are candidates for increased playing time.

Struggles from deep in loss
LaVine missed all but one of his seven attempts from beyond the arc Friday, and he has gone 5-for-17 (29.4 percent) over his three outings since returning from nine-game absence due to a left ankle sprain. The veteran wing is averaging 20.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 2.6 threes over 33.0 minutes per game this season.

Team-high 24 points in loss
DeRozan was the only Kings player to score more than 20 points during Friday's contest and finished as the game's second-leading scorer behind Stephen Curry (27 points). DeRozan also tied a season high with three steals, and over his last five outings he has averaged 18.8 points, 4.0 assists, 3.0 rebounds, 1.0 threes and 2.0 steals over 33.2 minutes per game.
